That was my thought was well (Regarding simplicity... )
It feels a bit chaotic, specially with the main one (Red and white)
The guy is shooting a gun like a typical fps character or something. There wasn't any seriousness in the trailer.

Perfection is within your grasp, Atlus! Take it, it's yours!
Dual audio
Which game? I really don't mind if you spoiler tag it.

The characters were grounded and you could relate to them. They acted like normal people instead of the wacky anime thing everyone does.

so anyone have theories on what's happening to this train conductor(?) in the trailer?
Game looks good definitely an improvement to the horrible cast of 4. Social link is still in right? Means a no buy for me since it doesn't appeal to me.

That looks terrible imo. What happened to the simplicity? Seems like the menu for a AAA Batman game.
Look at his mouth, he's either possessed and drooling or he's some kind of marionette, so perhaps a demon disguised as a person?![]()

Maybe in Persona 3 but Chie, Yukiko, Rise and Teddy all featured anime tropes.
Exceeds expectations so many times over it's not funny. Bring on Tuxedo Mask: the jRPG!!!

I sure hope they haven't replaced the Velvet room assistants with moe lolis. Don't succumb to that crap Atlus.

I also wanted to say that I appreciate Atlus sticking to their own thing. They're basically doing what they want to while the rest of the game world tries to do too much of the same.
Yes the region locking on Persona arena which, didn't it happen because of Zen United and Index wanted to maintain maximum sales, which then led to Sega stepping in for Ultimax whie throwing Zen United out. This is a company that actually added region locking to a game on a system that normally doesn't have it to prevent reverse importation. It ain't happening.
The best part of Persona 3 is the ending section, though.
You're Azula's fiancé?!? Whattttttttt! AwesomeI know! In case you guys didn't know, my fiance is Azula. He's taking a break because he needs to focus on his health. But we talked to an admin and closed out that account while he takes a break. And made me my account.
My name is Olivia. We are both so freakin excited for this. We are having a panic attack. You should see his face. omg omg omg

I am engaged to him. I asked him to marry me buhahah.

Yeah, it's always a shame seeing people dropping Persona 3 because they found the first half of the game kinda boring. I mean, I can see why they do it. But you get so rewarded for going through the first half later on. The other half is godlike and the ending is the biggest reason why I prefer 3 over 4.
AMAZING!!!! Looks fantastic! I love the in-game engine too! Looks like the Catherine engine or am I crazy?
Art direction is similar, but they are not using gamebryo. The engine for P5 is in-house, developed by P-studio exclusively for this game and probably for other Atlus PS3/PS4 games.
That looks terrible imo. What happened to the simplicity? Seems like the menu for a AAA Batman game.

On second thought, are those strings coming out of his mouth? They go down in a straight line and don't seem to be flowing. And there's not a single bloodstain to be found.

What if they're just kids?
Yeah. because no one could use Personae in the real world in older games! There were hints of anime tropes, but their abilities were limited in the real world. They didn't go around jumping in rafters and things like that. They were just teenagers. It seems like they took that in this one and turned them into some kind of superheroes.
I thought it was blood.

Would I be asking too much if I ask for a Vita port?

So whos ready to shit on my waifu when P5 comes out?
Heh I hear this a lot. I am not a huge RPG gamer and would be more interested in the social links and school/daily life stuff. I don't know a lot about the battle system so I think it kinda intimidates me to start.
Sorry don't mean to derail the hype train guys and gals!
