Still waiting on this Rosalina from Amazon.fr. Delivery estimate was the 30th. Guess I should be talking to Amazon France CS at this point (I don't speak French :/).

I'm in the same boat as you...delivery estimate was Jan. 29th...still nothing...
 
I also go an email today from GameStop around noon saying my Sonic pre-order has been delayed. They're saying it's been placed on back order.

I pre-ordered both Sonic and Shulk in mid-December, but the email only mentions Sonic being delayed. Also, when looking up the order status, the order for both items is listed as "Open"

Just saw a bunch of people on Reddit saying the same thing. I'm in NJ so I wonder if the winter weather we'd been having caused a delay of some sort.

I contacted them yesterday and they told me to wait until the 13th and contact them again if it hadn't arrived. Mine was due on Jan 29th.

Guess I'll do that.
 
But isn't that the exact same statue we're getting if you pre-ordered the LE for only $10 more? & that's for people who were luckily chosen to get the New 3DS Ambassador version.

Given that the LE only was up for like 30 mins, I bet they still have a better chance of getting it :/ I was lucky to be there at the right place and time, but I feel for those who couldn't get it.
 
I went to Gamestop and Bestbuy during lunch here in St. Louis, MO.

Gamestop - went to pay off my online Toad preorders from last night. They were not found in the system. Preordered in store no problem and paid them off. Cool. On to Shulk. I know there are Gamestop employees that are active members so maybe you can chime in regarding accuracy but I was informed that they can always see stock a week before arrival without exception. Regardless of rarity or type of item, a week before it is set to arrive they should see it somewhere in the system. He pulled up Shulk's sku and showed me the screen and there was nothing. He said it used to have a date after the item number but the date on screen was changed to a parenthetical comment like (Amiibo) or (Preorder), I don't recall the verbiage. He said it's possible shipment could go out Friday or Monday to stores with overnight shipping but unlikely, he said he's never seen Gamestop pay for that shipping method during his several year tenure. He said given those factors he does not expect to see Shulk next week.

Best Buy - the usual suspects and 2 Bowsers. There was a rack for Fox but it was empty. Toon Links empty.
 
Isn't that just the same figure we're getting in the MM LE edition? What's the big deal?

Even though I was lucky enough to get an LE, you have to admit it's a little salt in the wound of someone who, for example, might have wanted to get a non-XL 3DS and wasn't able to get in on the LE. Especially if said person has, oh, say, seven straight years of platinum for NOA's club nintendo.

in store orders usually take 24-48 hours to pop up in the system, or that was what I was told.
 
That is correct. My Monster Hunter New 3DS Bundle shows as open still, but that's for ship to home.

I think all that means is the order details have been transferred to the store you selected. If you are worried about it, talk with the people there to make sure it is in their system. It's basically become the same as if you had originally pre-ordered there in person. Also, pay off what you can of the order while you are there as well.

Oh ok, I'm only getting the regular game with my N3DS, I didn't really like the figure.
 
I preordered all of wave 3 in store at gamestop. I see all the talk in this thread so im worried a bit about my preorders getting delayed or cancelled. 5 minutes ago I got a call from gamestop, I was convinced it was to let me know my preorders were delayed...


..they called to let me know the SMB series was available to preorder in store today.

Weird -- I ordered Sonic on 1/3 and mine is showing closed for ship to store. I'm guessing many of us that did have it sent to the store may end up getting delayed as well, but because they closed the orders out, it's either harder or impossible to generate a delay notice.

Yours is set up for ship to home, right?
 
They really do, at least I got mine preordered. But seriously why does EU complain about their Club Nintendo's again and say there's worse than ours?

I wish we got Wii points cards for our rewards. So many third party games and WiiWare that would've been great to get. Oh and soundtracks. NA likes those too.

Crap, I sure hope this doesn't affect in-store pre-orders.
 
Gamestop backordered by Ike and King D. My other pre-orders don't seem to be affected, though. I am really worried about Ike. I really wanted all the Fire Emblem characters.

Doesn't ship to store orders being closed mean they're already on their way to stores though? I don't think they can get delayed cancelled anymore.

Still no delay notice from Gamestop for any of the Amiibo I pre-ordered. Online, for in store pick up and mostly paid them off. Anyone with a similar situation getting any delays?

I'm in the same boat and no delay yet. I'm hoping we are safe. Seems to be only people shipping to home.
 
Great pics! I specially like the one with Kirby, looks like a group photo the way kirby, fox and diddy are looking at the camera, and DK confusingly looking the wrong way. Loved it.

I think this is pretty much it. It's my understanding that some west coast ports are very close to total systemic collapse with all that's backed up.

I saw an email come in from Best Buy and got really excited for a second; thought it was going to be an update on Meta Knight. It wasn't. :(
It was for my Majora's Mask LE with Skull Kid figure. Should be in on 2/13!

So is it confirmed that Meta Knight won't be in-store or what is going on with that? (US)

I can't confirm anything put i put down an in store pre-order for metaknight back in December here in NYC.I visited the store the other day to make sure everything is still in order and the workers told me they plan to receive it by next Friday the 13th , the same day as the New 3DS, Majoras Mask and Monster Hunter come out.

I'm not sure if they were speculating but they seemed firm on telling me this information , i would take it with a grain of salt personally but i do plan on going back periodically to make sure im up to date on the situation.

Seriously guys did anyone else get all this?
 
Was at the mall so I decided to stop by my FYE to see what the situation was. They've stopped pre-orders company wide. Some stores were getting like 50 pre-orders a day when in reality each store only get 1-2 figures each of the new ones. Gonna be lots of pissed people when they cancel 95% of the orders.
