I love the Stand of the week format personally. I normally dont like that sort of format for other shows but I love seeing crazy new Stands. I've even started reading ahead starting from part 4 (skipping the rest of part 3 because I want to wait for the episodes).

imo part 4 and 5 vary up the pace style enough to be significantly better than 3 in that regard. Never felt like stand of the week, but when you look it it it does seem to kinda fit that style.

Anime is totally coming out in America

Viz Media announced on Thursday that it has been named the North American master merchandise licensee for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime series. The company unveiled an English logo for the animation, pictured right.

Starting this year Viz Media plans to release a variety of products based on the animated series, which is itself based on Hirohiko Araki's manga. Viz is already slated to release the first arc of the manga, Phantom Blood, later this month, and the second arc, Battle Tendency, in March. Viz Media released the third arc, Stardust Crusaders in 2005.

I still can't believe that. How do you introduce crazy senile Joseph before crazy cool Joseph? You wouldn't even know what the deal with Dio is without first watching part one. Whatever, I know the whole story, it is just one of those things.

I feel Stardust Crusaders tells you just enough about Part 1 that you don't necessarily need to have seen it already.

Also, assuming Viz wants JoJo on Toonami, dubbing Part 3 first is the best move because let's be honest here, Part 1 has almost zero action for like 3 episodes.
