Like the Arrow :(
I... didn't want to name names. I've seen two or three others though I've long forgotten their names.
The New 52.
J/K. Just a continuation of the current universe after Barry fixes it.
>=O
Oh. Uhh... sure. I mean, if they aren't going to let the actors act in the movies, they may as well go full out.
Also can I say how much I'm enjoying the fact that of all the comic book shows on TV, it's the one that is most proudly fucking comic booky, what with flying fire guys, talk about time travel, and psychic gorillas, that is clearly the best?
=D
Gotham is by the worst.
Ugh.
Awful.
Sure. I mean, though, I only hold my current opinion because AoS isn't back yet. I love loving these comic book shows though. I will be extremely sad when it all ends in 15 years.

Favorite comic show right now.
Ever week there's a ohhh shit moment

Damn right. Now let's hope the DC movie side can deliver something as good some day. It has been too long since they delivered.

I like Arrow, but I think it will be pretty easy for The Flash to claim best rookie season of a comic book TV series if it sticks the back-half

tbh.... I am not looking forward to the Flash movie... :/
Honestly, I am not looking forward to any DCmovie until they earn my love back. They had three strikes in a row with Green Lantern, Dark Knight Rises, and Man of Steel. Let's hope Batman v Superman is good and gets the movie side back on track.

In the meantime, DC is killing it on the TV side with Arrow and Flash.

Wow after watching Arrow for so long a comic book show that doesn't beat around the bush with keeping secrets and villain reveals gives me endless completions.

This is the pace of a show where the writers didn't know there would be a season 2. I like it.

yeah i was shocked how the general knew about Barry and again shocked how he taken out.

They lost me with the green lantern movie, but that's another discussion for another thread.

DC is killing it with TV and animated movies. I hope Marvel's daredevil will be just as good as the flash.

Great episode. Loved how they were "winking" at the audience with this episode too. Saying how it's just another Tuesday for them and Cisco saying "dude that was like week 3" when they mentioned Kyle Nimbus being locked up since that was the 3rd episode of the show.

I was starting to lose interest in this show after the last few episodes, but I'm officially back in. Tonight's episode was great.

No puns today. Just amazing.

They couldn't pull off Flashpoint Paradox on their budget. And lack of setup of the larger DC universe.

Unless they stripped it down so much that it'd have barely any resemblance to the comic/animated movie. And if they do that, then really what's the point?

They could totally pull off Flashpoint Paradox. They couldn't go into the depths of the comics but the two core stories in that film: Flash and his mother & Bruce and Thomas are still very easily represented, and you can substitute characters like Superman for Firestorm. Really it's just the Aquaman and Wonder Woman clash that would not be well represented.

It should not be a full season arc though. They can't disrupt Arrow that much. A 2-4 episode epic crossover would be great.

One thing I really liked in this episode was how they were able to take time travel theories like the Novikov self-consistency principle and, instead of reading a wikipedia article, boil it down in one or two lines that deliver the necessary information to the audience. That's just good writing.

I was surprised by that ending (not Grodd but before that where the Firestorm guys had to leave). I was expecting Prof Stein to warn Barry not to trust Wells, or if Stein had forgotten I thought maybe Ron would have "seen" the memory of being drugged while merged and would tell Barry and Caitlin about it.

I guess I'm going to have to accept amnesia came along with that knockout drug.
