Man, probably my second favorite episode this season, if not my favorite. It's a tough call between captain cold and this episode.

White eyes, good looking firestorm cgi, Dr. Stein being awesome, Dr. Stein/Ronnie inner monologue so goooood.

They couldn't pull off Flashpoint Paradox on their budget. And lack of setup of the larger DC universe.

Unless they stripped it down so much that it'd have barely any resemblance to the comic/animated movie. And if they do that, then really what's the point?
 
I can't even watch Agent of Carter. I need to go into the bathroom and collapse into the fetal position on the floor to calm down. I don't even know how to express these feelings. I was just shouting at the TV like an animal. I don't think I've ever had this kind of nerd happiness.
 
Goddamn. I really like what they did with the Firestorm character. Very cool.

Also I love how Grodd is showing up more and more, slowly but surely. But only in teasers. I really like how while they've revealed Wells as Reverse Flash, we're still not sure what his motivations are and I like how duplicitous he is.

I really hope they find a way to keep Wells a part of the main team, or at least involved in the story. Tom Cavanagh has been killing this role.

I'm not talking about the story as a whole. Obviously you don't have Superman and Batman and such. I just mean the idea that "Barry saves his mother and everything in the future goes to shit and characters are flipped." Could use the actors and characters from both Arrow and Flash. Have the season arc be Barry trying to go back and fix it by allowing his mother to die while also traversing a world he doesn't know and people who are different than he remembers.

Called something like that a while ago. Don't think it'll be a whole season, but I'm expecting this season to end on a cliffhanger of Barry returning to a shit present after saving his Mom.

Wells murdering Eiling and a bunch of Army Rangers in S.T.A.R. labs would raise a lot of questions, no? Doing it as Reverse Flash raises just as many questions.

Yeah, you don't want to see a CW show that's run out of steam. It's mildly depressing. But that's a future problem.

You could argue that if he disappeared in the middle of hunting for firestorm someone would've asked questions, doing it after is still suspicious but slightly less so.
 
Also can I say how much I'm enjoying the fact that of all the comic book shows on TV, it's the one that is most proudly fucking comic booky, what with flying fire guys, talk about time travel, and psychic gorillas, that is clearly the best?
