I actually only intended to get Mega Man, but there's Toon Link as well so yeah. Thanks to everyone who put up their own pics of the awesome looking Toon Links.
 
People on reddit have pointed out it says available now. And it's on a wooden floor. It that a walmart? I was worried it was the packin with the MP10 bundle but if not then whatever. Seems fishy. Would Europe have a non exclusive of this?
 
Whew, good thing it's just a gold Mario. It's lazy, boring, and ugly. Why get something that was spray-painted one color when you can have a vibrant, colorful Mario?

Walmart can keep its garbo exclusive.

1. Will it be exclusive to a bundle with the game like regular Mario?

2. Amazon seems like the only other major Nintendo retailer that hasn't gotten an exclusive. Therefore the most likely retailer as some have said?

3. Throughout NA Wal Mart has been doing an awful job stocking Amiibo. Knowing their release date and availability. You pretty much have to go in to get a proper answer.

4. Could it end up being the first exclusive in other places in the world?
 
Omg...whenever this thread jumps in activity I always think that it's because wave 4 is now available for preorder.

Does anyone know when these will go up at all? :(

Y'know what? TRUE. The normal MP Mario is waaaaay better and you can actually get it more easily.

Thanks to this thread talking about TRU restocks, I went into my local store looking for Sonic. No luck there, but I did finally nab a Lucario. Feels good.

What's the fun in that? If you slap the word "exclusive" on something people will always want it even if there are better variations out there.

I thought Nintendo and Amazon hated each other. I doubt Nintendo would want to give them an exclusive.
 
Interesting story I was too busy to tell AmiiboGAF...

Last Wednesday my Shulk, Shiek, and Toon Link arrived at GameStop for me to pick up (I previously pre-ordered in store). They called me and told me they were in and I confirmed to them that I would be in Saturday to pick them up.

Saturday afternoon I'm on lunch at work I get a phone call from them making sure that I was still picking them up. Yup, I'll be in tonight's to pick them up. No big deal right?

No. Fast forward to Saturday night about 7:00 PM where I'm in the store to pick them up. I was informed that I was lucky that I picked up my phone earlier in the afternoon because he was about to sell my Shulk to somebody else.

Good thing I took lunch when I did, because my Shulk would have been gone if I didn't reconfirmed again that I was going to pick up my Shulk Saturday night.

I was lucky. Just another reminder AmiiboGAF that you can't even trust a pre-order with some of these retailers.

Gamestop employees are only required to hold pre-orders for 48 hours.
 
So, my Ikes are cancelled through GS. I just got the email today. I hope no one else did. I called customer service, worked my way up to the supervisor, and the end result is that it's cancelled and there's no way to recover it, but I got 20,000 rewards points due my trouble, and I could get help from the store with a refund. But instead of that, with said help from the store, I got in contact with a very helpful individual at the Store Support Center who said she might be able to get my Ikes after all, so I'm waiting for the hopefully good news.

I do have some important info about Ike I want to share with everyone:

Like Shulk, GS will be selling Ike Web-in-Store orders for a May shipment

Confirmed this with the CS rep. If you miss out on Ike, don't lose hope, there's still a chance again, like Shulk.

This right here. All the reason to pick up your preorders ASAP. It doesn't magically mean it will be held forever.

So I guess those who pre-ordered Meta Knight for ship to home will have theirs shipped on the 20th, rather than possibly receiving it on the 20th. :(

Call your Best Buy, get an idea from them. It depends how early you can get up/stay at Best Buy for, and if they said they will have extras to sell.
 
Found out one of my Twitch sub's brother works at their local Target and can probably hook up a DeDeDe.

I really hope Walmart gets enough of the Gold Mario amiibos to last for online pre orders. Maybe even in store. I cri.
 
Has anyone seen MM, Ike, or D3 at Target? I was just at one and saw pegs with labels for those three, but I don't know if they were ever actually stocked.

I'd say slim. You'd have to hope the BB you go to has a few non-preorders to sell. If you live in Canada though, then there's zero chance since BB and Future Shop confirmed there will be none to sell for none pre-orders.

I was under the impression that those amiibo were web only for target. Like someone had some internal email about that. I am now questioning that if they had pegs for them.

That's what I thought as well, but I was just there not even 30 minutes ago and saw the labels. They were filled with other stuff, but they were there nonetheless.

I chuckle when I go to my TRU because they have tags up for stuff that isn't going to make it to them, like Fox and what not. But this isn't that situation since why would you even have a peg for something that stores will not receive. Guess I'm gonna hit up Target on Friday before I go over to Best Buy to see whats what.

The Gamestop I go to holds it for 48 hours, but are also required to hold an item of someone calls in and tells them that they will be there a certain day as well. Don't know if that is everywhere.

Like they had a Shulk that the person who preordered called and said they would be there on Sunday for it, so they had to keep holding it for them.
