hmm .. ok i'm REALLY loving this show ..

Is it just me or are the special effects pretty damn good for a TV show ?

LOVED the the "We love you" line at the end before Ronnie/Stein flies away.... someone PLEAASE gif that scene for me.

The effects are freaking great. I really can't think of a television show that does better, except maybe Game of Thrones.

Flashpoint, Grodd? Is this show for real. I can't believe what I am seeing in this show.
So many feels with Ronnie and the professor.

Arrow + The Flash.... DAMN, I love these two shows.

Why are ArrowGAF and FlashGAF so thirsty? It's icky that there are people stating the backside of a woman could be enough to justify a character.

Cisco's grin lol

Yeah, episode was top-notch. Not entirely sure how Barry got a Pizza that fast, unless he made it himself or stole it from someone, but I can gloss over that. Really love how they handled the Firestorm storyline with Stein and Ronnie and General Eiling is still perfect.

Cisco's comments are great too. "That was like week three."

Well Stein and his wife had already ordered the pizza. I'm guessing Barry just went and got it (and paid for it because he's a superhero).

Oh right, didn't thought of that. Ok, then he probably intercepted the delivery guy. Makes sense.

I love that. I enjoy Flash not only helping with criminals, but doing little things to brighten days.

Crazy theory guys. What if season two is Flashpoint? Like the finale is Barry going back to save his mother. And season two is the fallout.

Oh, guaranteed. Or Barry changes the past in such a way that his dad never went to prison for Nora's murder, and thus Barry never moved in with Iris and her father. BUT Detective West instead was left wanting another kid and so BOOM! Wally West, born in an alternate reality.

This could also result in
Thawne
becoming Reverse Flash instead... ya never know

ZOMG! Showrunners of Flash are not fucking around. They are really cramming S1 with as much awesomeness as possible.

Anyhow, great episode! Effects were excellent, US army suddenly has tons of crazy experimental weapons [acid rocket launcher, what is this, Borderlands? :D], core story was great, Iris was not as shitty as usual, and they did Firestorm justice. I quite liked their "stable" version with Stein doing voiceovers. And dat ending.

Pretty damn ambitious for a new show to pull Flashpoint this early.

Also, what's the reason behind the month hiatus? Do they need more production time for the rest of the season or something? Did they only recently extend the first season to a full 22?

I'm pretty sure they're still filming the remaining episodes. Grant's Instagram is full of production shots.

I don't know where you got the voting numbers for everyone who watches every one of those 5 shows but I would suggest a recount. Also I can't take you seriously when you make fun something you're arguing against. It just agitates people, taking away from conversation. Makes it look like you're not out to have one in the first place.

I was being sarcastic, not serious. Guess I need to add a /s at the end to show everyone its a joke.

But personally, that is my list. I watched AoS and I thought it was boring stuff, even when everyone was just wait till the tie in with captain america. Okay, I waited, I watched it, it didn't add anything to me. Some people are going to love AoS and others will think its trash. Doesn't take anything away from the show if that person loves it. I think Flash is the top right now while Arrow is 1b. All shows have highs and lows, but personally and this is not fact just a personal choice and maybe bias, that agents of shield is boring and slow.

What I just realized about the confrontation between the Reverse Flash and the cops & Wells is that the Reverse Flash completely ignores the presence of anyone other than Wells. A pre-recorded after image or projection would do that. After that Wells just sits in the background not moving while the Reverse Flash takes over. Could be something in there.
Or
he could be moving so damn fast he can literally be in two places at once.

Than Grant Gustin? Hell no. Barry Allen feels super natural.

I think he's referring to Robbie being better than Stephen.

From what I've seen of the odd episode of The Tomorrow People and this, Robbie's more expressive but has a coldness about him (is it the piercing eyes and the dopey look, I dunno). Stephen's flat as fuck but there's a warmth and calmness about him (is it the fuzzyness of his face, I dunno) that makes him the more appealing of the two.

If that makes sense.

What if they merged though.

Shit.

arrowstorm would be the goat

It's seems to be a problem with every TV show OT.

It's why I don't post in them except the day of and the first few days after an episode airs. Gets way too creepy.

It's pretty common for CW shows to take Christmas and March haitus. They're timing it so that the season ends in mid to late May.

Loved that episode, was pure comic fun.

I liked how Grodd has been shown to evolve from the first shot of him in a cage. We had the writing on the wall of the sewers that seemed to improve then last time we saw him he was crawling and couldn't communicate, now we have him walking upright and we hear his voice.

It was nice to see more of Victor Gerber, I thought he had too little to do last week. His reaction when he found out Barry had time travelled was great.

The preview for next week looks amazing aswell, shame about the month hiatus. Does Arrow take the same time off?

All CW shows are on the hiatus

I'm like 95 percent show we'll get a Firestorm series next season (maybe an Atom one as well?) Seems like CW has gotten the message that their super hero shows are their best bet for ratings.

I seriously think this show has the balls to pull off Flashpoint. Start next season in an alternate reality and this one ends with Barry running into Thomas Wayne/aka Flashpoint's Batman. Would lose my shit.

How would a Firestorm show work? I'm envisioning something like the Hulk series. Ronnie and Stein on the run, fleeing the military, while helping people in need and learning how to control their abilites

The whole issue with the Flashpoint story is that Arrow and probably the Vixen web series is probably gonna run alongside that. Are they just gonna do the alternate storyline route and have him the alternate timeline and Arrow doing thing in the normal storyline. Plus they're making the crossover a seasonal thing so at best it would be just a small arc maybe after the crossover.

If they did Flashpoint, this is the most likely scenario. It would be doing a disservice to Arrow the show to have it suddenly change due to an entirely different show's storyline. They wouldn't want to chance losing potential viewers who watch Arrow but not Flash.

You can get away with that in comics, but there's no chance they'll do it on TV.

I suspect we'll get one or the other, but not both. I can see CW ordering scripts for potential pilots for both and picking the best one.

They've already renewed a lot of their shows (their full Fall linup, in fact!), so they don't have much real estate left.

It has to be Robert Queen/Green Arrow. And Moira is Deathstroke. Believe

We're assuming time travel will actually happen. They keep directly suggesting time travel which makes me think we'll get something else in its attempt. Especially since we have already gotten it with Wells. What if they decide to twist it up on us. He attempts time travel but instead breaks into a parallel earth ala Earth 2 and we encounter Jay Garrick instead. Cause the time travel and altering it doesn't just mess with Flash but it would require changes to take place on Arrow since they plan on doing more cross overs. Unless they localize any change and at that point why even bother if you aren't going to go big.

I like the Robert Queen angle better, it keeps the story a little more intimate/self contained. Heck, I'd rather have Malcom as Green Arrow shoot Reverse Flash in back and mention Barry would have expected it.
