Ore ga Doutei wo Sutetara Shinu Ken ni Tsuite aka Smutterfly Effect has the main protagonist set on a path of redemption with some mystery elements in place. Bakudan! - Bakumatsu Danshi features a good for nothing high school kid who leap back to the Samurai era. A Distant Neighborhood by Jiro Taniguchi doesn't have a specific goal or plot but still narrates the story superbly.

Yokohamasen Doppelganger Chapter 1

Synopisis:

Kenzaki Makoto, a debuting sculptor, was arrested as the serial killer of the Yokohama Line series of murders. He insisted that he was innocent but was sentenced to the death penalty. He was executed 11 years after the crime. But when he reopened his eyes, by a twist of fate, he had returned to 11 years ago, 25 days before the crime was committed. Burning with the desire for revenge against the real murderer, Kenzaki begins to take action. The only one he can trust is HIMSELF. The crime suspense story of two selves fighting against fate unfolds.

Tamaki Vanessa Chihiro's debut work. Pretty good and distinctive art although it can be a little clumsy in conveying when it's trying to say. It's promising, just hope that it doesn't collapse under its own weight.

Alice is fine. But her mom is so so. Probably because Mukokuseki She doesn't look "foreign beauty ". Quite simply I havent found that attractive to me.
