My Meta Knight Amiibo is finally being shipped!
I want to check my closest Best Buy or Walmart (a 24 hour one, at least) to see if I can find Dedede and/or Sonic tomorrow.

But I'm worried that I'm just wasting my time.

Yeah I got the call about a delayed Dedede too. I'm not sure what to do, though I'm thinking about just getting out of this game and just leaving my wall incomplete. It seems like the farther along we are in this search, the more ridiculous it becomes.

Wow, there are two Foxes at my TRU! Haven't seen these guys out in the wild since December.

TRU actually got a small restock the other day with Fox, Shiek, Samus and Lucario. But it was a "small box" according to my friend who works at one. Not sure what that means exactly but I assume there was only a handful of each in the box.

And no, Lucario wasn't just out. They were reserved for people already.

Shulk is a rare, but I think you meant Sheik, who is odd. Some people see a ton of her, others nothing. I've yet to see her on the shelves in northern VA. Toon Link I have seen out in force though.

I think you'd have better luck if the amiibo you're offering to trade weren't falling off shelves in most stores.

I know as of a few days ago you were able to walk into Gamestops and pre-order Shulk for a future batch arriving late spring/early summer, but I don't know if they've closed that up yet. Good luck with the others-- especially Meta Knight.

It does seem ridiculous, but Nintendo just sends the allotted stock to each store. They're not going to give Target their amiibo after Best Buy and Gamestop fulfill all of their orders just because their pre-orders came first.

Now, when this kind of thing happens within the same retailer... that's ridiculous.

The store I'm going to is on the outskirts of a city, and my best guess (I didn't get numbers) is that they will have less than 10 Meta-Knights.

Nobody better stand outside until ~20 minutes before opening, I really don't want frostbite.

That's the gist of what I heard to which is worrying that it will be a madhouse no matter who gets there first. I asked if they would hand out tickets or anything and the rep said no, they could at least have them at the front of the store. :/
