I think this is the only form of entertainment in which portions of the fanbase hate each other. What the fuck guys. Why is everyone so antagonistic? And I'm not just referring to the Bryan/Reigns thing. Just this idea that we have to deride each other because of the guy we cheer for. Fans of Reigns try to rundown and single out those who cheered for Bryan and those who get rundown do the same thing back. I would say can't we all just get along, but that's a lost cause at this point.

I mostly wish the people who hate what the WWE is doing right now would just move on. Move on to just watching NXT and/or Lucha Underground and/or NJPW. I would hope that's enough to get people by. The WWE product isn't super great right now, but I'm actually fine with that(crazy as most people would think). It's just that it's gotten to the point where I'm watching a movie and a bunch of snarky teenagers are cheering the bad guy just because they get off on their own echo chamber. Just, y'know, watch something that you genuinely enjoy. Otherwise, what are you doing with your life?

Everyone of those people who went to the Royal Rumble and boo'd their lungs out knew Reigns was gonna win and still bought a ticket. What else should the uppers at WWE think?

Everyone didn't know Reigns was winning. Bryan coming back for the Rumble gave people pause and plenty (like me) thought there was no way they'd screw the Rumble up two years in a row.

Maybe they should think the reason their numbers aren't so great is because people are booing their lungs out.

Clear pin missed. CONTROVERSY. Triple threat at Mania. 4 way when you add Axel.

They did not know Reigns was gonna win they knew he had a good chance to win and hoped he would not but, he won and they booed because of how the match was booked. It is not even about Bryan this year it is more about the WWE being horrible at booking feuds and matches.

I knew Bryan was going to lose but was hoping he would win because I wanted to be happy at the end of WM31 since I'm going there in person. The Reigns v Bryan match was very entertaining, but the end was awful. It's annoying when Reigns kicks out of everything (including a beautifully countered RKO vs Orton last year) so seeing him one spear another talented wrestler was very painful.

There weren't very many boos tonight I don't think you should expect a repeat of the Rumble at Mania.

They had the dueling Reigns/Bryan thing going, but he was getting booed pretty much throughout IMO. I just think the WM crowd isn't going to accept Reigns. We'll see. He's got 5 weeks to turn it around.

I think putting him with Bryan was a mistake. It dimmed both of their heat.

edit: FnP on LAW! lol

Why do you care more about Daniel Bryan's booking than Daniel Bryan does? I mean, at least CM Punk was actually as big an asshole about his career as his fans were.

I don't. My point is that this entire thread has been Reigns fans tearing down Bryan fans and acting like they "won". And then the Bryan fans answer by attack the Reigns fans. This whole cycle of "salt" and "marks" and "smarks" and all this dumb antagonistic bullshit.

They were right about the Bellas cancer comment, that was some bullshit.
I don't fault the Bellas at all, personally. They're simply putting out the kind of women's wrestling product that Vince wants.

Putting the blame on them for their segments being awful isn't fair.
It's like blaming the actors in Transformers for the movie sucking.

Calling them a cancer is completely uncalled for. We all know who the cancer is.

I'M FINISHED!

Um exCUSE me Sakurai but CLEARLY the best choice for Smash Bros would be my fav niche character HOWEVER you are clearly INCOMPETENT and
and yet, despite being booed over the years, Cena remained the top earner, top draw, top merch guy over the last 10 or so years...so why would Reigns getting boo'ed deter the WWE from pushing him? Is it not just the nature of wrestling in 2015 that the top face gets divisive reactions?

Hasn't Cena's run seen WWE's television ratings plummet from the heights of the attitude and rock 'n' wrestling eras? And it isn't that impressive that the most protected wrestler in the history of modern wrestling sells the most merchandise when he has more merchandise than every other WWE "Superstar". And yes, it is the nature of Vince's ego to continue marching his creation to further irrelevancy by spinning crowd reactions and booking in ways that are contrary to the companies most successful periods.

We all know who the cancer is.

People who improve don't get enough credit but Nikki has improved.

That being said they have gotten way more camera and TV time then most of the talent and have bombed every step of the way.

Sometimes you need to make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

the heights of the attitude era are never coming back. That drop would have happened no matter who was the face of the company.

It is hard to say what would happen if they booked a wrestling show like they did in the past if they never try.

Also ratings, were already down to the 4.0 level by time Cena was the #1 guy. Considering that all of TV have had their ratings drop w/ the advent of the Internet, it's not a shocker that RAW isn't the draw it once was, when you can watch the big segments online the next day.

I'm not saying WWE booking has been fantastic, but a 2-hour RAW w/ good booking would still likely be only doing 3.3 or 3.4's instead of 2.9's.

Is that sarcasm?

I don't know.

Honestly, the LAW is the worst program out of their family of podcasts. Jason Agnew and Dan Lavranski are terrible hosts compared to the dynamic between Wai Ting and Pollock.
It could be sarcasm...or maybe not. We just don't know. We'll find out tomorrow.

Stop trying to make that triple threat match happen.

Triple H's death grip on the world title during the original Evolution run is really where ratings starting going down. Especially when he would start every Raw with a 20 minute promo.

That's what you guys basically are. You're Twilight fans. Take some time and reflect on that.

A lot of people that watched wrestling back then just stopped. It's like Nintendo trying to get the Wii fans back.

they stopped because many of those people were WCW fans that tuned in to WWF and saw them look like shit.

Look at Tazz. He was over as fuck and within like a week he was jobbing to HHH.
