Probably. Sorry. I probably would lose my main too. I hope that they would have like 4 different seasons to keep adding characters like KI seasons did. so I can get my main character back if he ever had a chance.

For now, I'm looking forward to see what kind of starting roster we would get. :)

Of course they could make it more of a 3s emphasized cast since this game is supposed to take place afterwards. I guess we'll see.

...i'm not saying that he wears the cape in every game. i'm saying that the best Bison (IMO) is the one in Alpha where he keeps the cape on. hence why i said "best bison", not "every game with bison in it"
 
The 16 character rumor was later corrected to a roster size which is between SF3 and SF4. It could mean anything from 19 to 25 characters.
 
Charlie was already a hideous design, and the Frankenstein patches aren't doing him any favors. Can't say I'm thrilled about his inclusion; I'd rather see Maki and Eagle if Capcom had to include someone from Alpha.

That said though, I'm diggin' V's graphical bump in quality compared to its initial reveal and a pre-release online beta is excellent news.
 
Alex needs to be in this, once the posterboy for SF. Juri is probably a lock too, and shes cool. I hope for Haggar as grappler, and Sodom and Maki to make their return.

As for Urien, he was my SF3 main but he looks to be plastered on Frankenash. Well, hope its Gill.
 
Can someone please explain to me why they think Urien is part of Charlie now? It sounds like something someone pulled out of their ass on gamefaqs.

Charlie's missing parts appear to have been replaced with chunks from someone who had dark skin and a jewel on their forehead.

SF3 had 12 characters, and SF4 Arcade had 19 characters. If they actually did good job with their schedule then they probably would have more free time to add couple of characters or so.

That theory don't make sense since Street Fighter 5 story plot is going to happens before Street Fighter 3 so Urien is still alive in Street Fighter 3.

It don't make any sense at all.

When is this game coming out?

The game looks REALLY far along and if they are talking about preorder bonuses, then its seemingly close.

Urien was brown, alive at the end of SF3, and wasn't the only person with a gem.

It's just as likely that it was Gil/Urien who brought Charlie back and sticking one of those gems in his forehead is part of the process.

And by just as likely I mean there's no actual reason to believe any of outside of random ass speculation.
 
I'm sure that's not parts of Urien. Its just artistic choice those stitched sections are darker. Its to further show its not his original body. Common design trope.

But there is an obvious connection with Gill and Urien. And Seth and Bison. Maybe they will finally reveal that here.

I don't know. We haven't even seen the final life bars/super bars yet. Everything that's been shown at tournaments has been place holder. Of course, something playable could show up at E3 or better yet EVO. For some reason this seems like a 2016 game to me.
 
I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but Capcom has definitely updated Ryu and Chun-li's moves from the previous showing. The most notable is Ryu's down + MK attack. It actually looks like his Alpha variant again, instead of the super crouch down on one leg thing he had going on in the previously shown build.

In any case I hope Urien is in. SFV will likely bridge the gap between Shadaloo and Illuminati stuff, so there is a significant chance.
 
People asking about Bison dying... isn't he some kind of energy or spirit that just transfers bodies once one is destroyed? Bison's Alpha body is a different body from Street Fighter 2 if my SF history serves me right.

The scale of the character models are exaggerated in general, it's the style they're after. I'd shrink the hands and feet a touch, but the look is still gonna be action figure-esque. That's what they want.

As long as it's not the same chunky look as SFIV, I'm good. The faces and overall musculature are already huge improvements, so I'm happy.
 
Whoa... I did not expect Charlie to get Decapre's shenanigans

In that case, give Cammy an SPD and a Lariat so I can win with her

and the "Frankenstein monster" look is wild. It'll take a while to get used to it. I assume that Charlie actually died at some point #FightingGameStories

Yes. Seth and his clones were created by Shadowloo to be used by Bison as body replacement before Seth went rogue.
 
i wonder how many pairs of glasses he has accidentally crushed with those baseball mitts hahahah
