When I first saw that design I didn't notice at first that the clouds spell out "Kawaii".

I also like how it is also a secret Boo plate as well.

I totally forgot about Game and 365games, sites I have used to get Euro games in the past lol. Paying $30 for the faceplate after shipping but so worth it :3

Gaf I still need help getting the Xenoblade, Pikachu, and Kirby faceplates....
 
My new faceplates arrived today. Won't be using them any time soon, still rotating between the KPP eyeballs one, the white Monhun and the Jap SSB ones.

Still, they look cute as hell.

I wonder if the Western version (for those who don't know, the logo is different) will get a general release. The sticker on it's packaging was #000 but I assumed that was just because they hadn't allocated it an official number yet.

They won't be - the original ambassador email stated that they were exclusive to that package. I prefer the EU ones not having any logo - they looks nice and clean

I guess I thought that only applied to the Ambassador plates. Well I guess i should put my Smash plates away for safe keeping.

The original Ambassador email stated the Ambassador plates wouldn't be available elsewhere, it didn't state that for the Smash plates.

My Smash plates have the English logo too.
 
So my n3DS finally arrived. opened supposedly due to "suspicious packages". When i questioned the post office about why it wasnt delivered, they said they thought it was "suspicious" due to the product being available in the US. which of course began a nice 30 minute tirade about how its NOT available, and there is a difference, and just yelling at them to give me my shit.

I am also pretty sure the guy hijacked it because he said it was "tested" with a US game to make sure it was legit. Whatever, its in one piece and doesnt look manhandled, just some fingerprints on it.

Now for the faceplates to arrive.....

I'd have put my foot up someone's ass for that... And if it was opened, I would be demanding they send it back and pay for a new one as the USPS has no right to open anyone's mail. I'd call customer support about that if I were you. Customs has the right but once it hits the carrier centers, they are NOT to touch your property

That's ridiculous! If customs opened everything I ordered that wasn't available in New Zealand I'd probably still be waiting on 5 years of parcels while they went through everything. Sounds like BS to me...

That is some shit. Also who cares if it is an option in the US?
Many people in Brazil imported due to the stupid tax laws.
Some people imported DQ:Heroes despite it getting localized in the future.

Like if I could buy the XL in France for cheaper with shipping, then it isn't customs business that I am importing it.

I am glad they did not do that to me. Guess because the customs officer during that time wasn't stupid.

Also yeah my faceplates said delivered but I have not gotten it yet. I am hopping it is just a system screw-up, but I am raising hell if I do not get it by Tuesday.

Yep, 90% sure someone tried pulling a fast one and taking it. They had no business opening it and they especially had no business "testing" to see if it worked.

I reckon you should put in a formal complaint to stop this BS happening again. Tested it with a US game? Surely the checking requirement doesn't go that far. What poppy cock.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Everything about it is stupid. Why would they care if you would have been able to get it where you live anyway? And they tested it with a US game? The hell? omething is definitely fishy - file a complaint!

It's weird they would even know what it is. When I've sent consoles in the post I usually just say it's a Gameboy and even then they sometimes don't know what I'm talking about. Probably just some nosey worker or would-be thief...

Also, Xenoblade plates ordered! Finally I can relax!

Seems like your face plate isn't 'clicked-in' fully on the top-right? And yes, wooden faceplates are amazing. I have wood on black too!

Yeah, that white cradle doesn't look too hot with that combo. Wish there was a black one for non-XL variants.

The wood plate looks amazing though. Cannot wait to get mine
 
Another reason the white is better. ;) But seriously, the lack of black charger is really odd. Guess they didn't want people accidentally buying the wrong size charger.

Faceplates are about to be the new addiction lol.

And i did end up filing a complaint to USPS about it. The more i thought about it, the angrier i got so filed. We will see what happens.

Sad to say I'm already at my 6th (9 if I counted the doubles LOL) and I'm trying as much as I can to stop my self from getting anymore but the kirby ones look really tempting. I'm just thankful that the black MH4 plate is glossy or I would've been all over it.

Giving away a Zelda Triforce faceplate to a gaffer who either missed the window or cannot afford it. I ask that if you know youre going to have the faceplate, let someone who does not have it get it. i have no way to enforce this, so honor system at play here.

And now the grand question.

I got lucky and managed to get two. i was expecting to get 2 european 3ds systems, but the gf settled on my MH US XL

Send me your address and ill have it in the mail tomorrow for you.

Once it comes in, ill prob have a giveaway for the Xenoblade one as well.
