The game bundle + the system on Amazon.fr would probably be less than $300.
Actually by math, $170 + $80 = $250.

Since they gave it the title (Colourful) I've wondered if a monochrome version will also come out.
Was tempted by it (the music is pretty cool) but the folders and icon borders are kind of ugly. Shame.

Yep, I simply ADORE the music but can't stand the borders/folder icons. Wish we could mix and match.

I got the cheapest one but it's still $$$$. I paid like ~15 euro for it. My expected delivery date is March 13. Oh well

After actually using the new 3DS XL I can't go back to the smaller screen of the regular one so I'm glad I got it but do want the cool faceplates. That black Triforce one is classy as all hell and that Xenoblade one is fantastic. I'm happy with the gold Majora one though, even bought the Majora's Mask gold theme, the it's really nice.

I finished my DecalGirl decal for Wii U and not too bad.
Good option to decorate the new XL.
Matte feels way better than standard gloss.
Edit: OG XL pictures! Template is 100% better than Wii U. Highly recommended!

I bought it but never use it due to the icon borders and folders, such a shame as the top screen and music are really well done.
A black and white version will likely have a better bottom screen but worse top screen, we can't win.

Doesn't look bad, but I'm happy with my gingham plates for now.
Now you just have to hope for a nice theme to go with it.

Earlier today they had new stock. Every few seconds the stock changed in the afternoon. Sometimes amazon had stock for RRP, then it was gone and third party sellers only. For both plates. Occasionally they alternate between both of them being available and marketplace only. I could never put both in the basket at the same time. At one point they had the Triforce plate available for a few minutes which is when I managed to order it finally. During that time the MM plate sold out on another shop that I was trying to buy it from... very frustrating.

Honestly the is not really a reason not too.
Getting Nintendo certification is pretty easy for accessories.
Plus if online only you are not required to get one.

And both Zelda faceplates are now sold out. And in less than 24 hours! Glad I was lucky and got my Triforce plates in time thanks to the tip-off from Gaf.
On another note, has anyone noticed that the default, rear faceplates squeak in the area above the battery? My standard black faceplate does this, but my wood one doesn't: I expect because the material is thicker. I wonder if other faceplates have this problem too?
I found I could vary the squeaking by adjusting the tightness of the screws, same on the XL model too.

Hmm. Not working for me unfortunately. Both screws are as tight as I can get them. And I'm afraid of stripping the screws too!

Sorry misread you there! Will try this out later. Thanks for the tip.
Hehe. I've seen some horror pictures on here of stripped 3DS screws! There isn't much between loose and tight but finding the sweet spot carefully and gently can stop squeaking in my experience.
