Both clocks showing a 2, is that possible that this is linked to more than just the hour of the announcement?
Senran Kagura Burst was deemed as selling well in the west, and Shinovi Versus/ Bon Appetit were both localized quicker than most expected.
With Estival Versus releasing in Japan in 2 weeks, and Senran Kagura 2 being well-received by most people that played it, it's a good possibility, with EV's localization happening way later this year or next.

We should also note that they opened a "SENRAN KAGURA 2: DEEP CRIMSON GENERAL DISCUSSION" forum 2 weeks ago, and shared some screenshots themselves.


Of course it's also possible it's another game, as they focused lately on Alphadia Genesis.

Unless XSEED has already started teasing, I doubt it's SK2. I mean, they're the one going to do the localisation, so that'd be weird for them not to be the first to announce it, or announce it without any teaser like they usually do.

I think their background is about Senran Kagura since a while.

For XSEED, I'd say the same thing, US studios usually do their announcements later. There's also no Marvelous US, and the EU one might have the right to talk about it before XSEED, if they are the publisher.
Edit: I have to say Marvelous Europe has really improved in terms of community management since the "censoring" in SK:SV in Europe.

They're all part of the same company, XSEED is basically Marvelous US and only uses the XSeed name as a publishing brand. I don't see why the EU branch can't be the first to tease something. Could be a joint EU &US announcement tomorrow. #believe

It makes sense, since a) Marvelous Europe was founded on mobile games, so they have lots of previous experience in that regard, b) New Wave strikes me as the sort of game where there isn't a whole lot of text to translate, which makes it ideal for first time localisers, and c) it's a Marvelous game in the first place.

Plus the countdown seems to be heading towards 2pm GMT tomorrow, which would explain the pictures.

As I understand it they're the same company, XSEED is just a brand that was kept for console releases.

Yep. It's just that XSEED is basically doing all the community work, the localizations, and console stuff. They're also different companies.

Shinovi Versus was the first to do this IIRC (since they went back to XSEED's name after 2009, Rune Factory Frontier, Avalon Code, and Valhalla Knights 2 did this back then also).
