Final Fantasy XV Demo Previews/Impressions Thread

Can any one help? I want to buy type 0 for xbo but Amazon won't take my card cause I don't live in America ( trying to buy online code for gift card). Anyone know where I can get microsoft points online if I'm using an international card?

I pre-ordered on December 12 2014 on Amazon UK but mine won't be shipped until 3 days after release (March 20). But it's fine with me, I'm in no hurry.

Hmm, I think you can? I vaguely recall them mentioning it somewhere.
I tried google searching it, but found nothing. Just kept getting stuff on streaming and share play not allowed (and Siliconera's fucking article about the summon... fuck), but can't find anything mentioning remote play. It would be neat to play this on a Vita.

Bored so I went over Coleman 2015 catalog

couldn't find that tent..

Well, at least this stuff is pretty timeless. It's pretty risky going with real clothes and hairstyles that were designed over 5 years ago. It's part of the reason Stella/Luna looks so different.

am I the only one that is actually hyped for Type 0?

edit: also this is kind of off topic but I hate that the OT isnt up yet. The new rules suck a big chocobo.

Corporate greed?

Just when we thought SE was gonna turn a new leaf

BS. They are the same miserable asses as always. XIV is their shining star at the moment and I cant even bring myself to play that game again

15 and Type 0 look fun and should be....

But their is just a lot of weird backgorund shit going on that really worries me

I actually like this kind of stuff. Not sure why.

I got a kick out of MGS4 when everyone was using Apple branded products.

I appreciate that you like Coleman®.

I didn't mind it in MGS4 back then. Even Peace Walker had product placement.

I guess we'll see how it will be in XV.

Edit: Borderless taste.. lulz

I'm hyped for it too. I've been waiting for the game ever since they announced it for PSP years ago.

Was really disappointed that they never released it in the US or ported it to Vita later.

Yeah, and CalorieMate in MGS3 too. I don't have a problem with product placement when it seems to make sense. As long as the character isn't going all infomercial on us, it's okay.

Edit: Doritos DLC in Japan lol

While the face, hair, and torsos of XIII's characters were good the hands, legs, and arms were horrible, made worse be the juxtaposition it made (rectangle fingers next to the face).

Speaking of this, IGN was giving off the impression that this was something completely separate from the main game, almost like a prequel. They described it as Final Fantasy: Ground Zeroes.

How accurate is that? From what I know, the area will obviously be in the full game, the story has been altered a bit for the demo, and the events wont play out the same way in the full game.

Not accurate at all. What you know is correct.

It's weird how Kojima and Square are so alike.

Both became super famous in the PS1 era, and then both created a new IP in the PS2 era that was amazing, and then both had hated entries in the PS3 era, and now both are doing a new open world entry in their respective series that is extremely hyped by fans, while also reviving an IP that was in coma until now (SH, SaGa), and trying to keep their greedy bosses in check not by putting infinite DLCs in their games, but by using product placement (and overpriced demos).

They are also the only two to put a cannon game in their series in a handheld console (BBS/PW), and are known for trolling their fans, sometimes with good stuff, sometimes just mean trolling.

They basically created an event (car breaking down, party needs to get the money to fix it) that won't be in the final game, while keeping some ties to the real story as a teaser.

Ign doesn't even know what they're saying.. You however do.

GZ is not even part of TPP, however kojima hinted something cool in regards to camp omega for those who own GZ.

Final Fantasy XV is full of smart ideas, and although the tropes are all there—phoenix downs, gysahl greens, peppy victory music—it feels totally different than any Final Fantasy before it, more akin to Skyrim or Far Cry

Drat. If I wanted to play Far Cry or Skyrim, I'd play Far Cry or Skyrim. Heck, I hated Oblivion, so this does not bold well.
