Overall I found that ep disappointing. Perhaps im a little spoiled by flash.

This whole season feels like it's spinning it's tires but not going anywhere. I don't find Ra's as intimidating as deathstroke when it should be feeling the other way around.

And shado doesn't make any sense in the flash back. Surely he could have just told slade she wasn't killed by his choice on the island and made all of that go away. I guess we will see how they write this in.

This was one of the worst episodes of Arrow I've seen in a long time. Literally no one made any sense but Ras.

I mean can anyone tell me why Oliver shouldn't take this position? Because I didn't hear a single good reason why he shouldn't other than "Its called the league of assassins". If Oliver can outlaw killing then he basically has unlimited resources and an army of trained individuals to exert his will. What the hell is wrong with that?

The worst part was when Oliver "remembered" why he was doing all this. If it was really about his father, his family and this specific city then I'd accept it but he said its so much bigger. Don't you think those cops would be doing a whole lot better if they were relying on an army of trained ninjas then 5 people?

Really disappointed.

This is so true. Should have taken the position instantly.

When Ra's was talking about the prophecy, he said that Oliver's resurrection was 'neither by force of [his] own will'. Hopefully, some mystical aspect is going to be explained.

Shadoooooooo. Unfortunately this seems like a twin sister kind of situation.

Something you shouldn't think about too hard is that in the precinct shootout, after the gang shows up, Nyssa joins in the fight and basically just slices dudes up while Oliver/Roy/Laurel just give everyone beatdowns.

Thea and Captain Chesthair made sense.

Ehhhh it was ok. Lmao at Roy flopping so hard and then hanging off the ceiling tho

I really like Nyssa and Laurel, hopefully they get more screentime over the rest of these boring ass characters

You know this episode was just what I needed to calm me down after everything that went down in the season finale of Empire. Good episode but subdued I mean after The Flash and Empire I'm glad the episode was chilled. *dead* at Ra's in Arrow's costume tho.

Ra's in the hood was a little much, but I hope this means more appearances from Matt Nable now -- and part of the action, instead of being far off in League HQ.

Really liked his scene with Nyssa this ep, and this burgeoning partnership
romance?
between her and Laurel.

They mentioned but didn't focus on the fact that in order to become a part of the League of Assassins in the first place, you have to kill someone, and that's not something Ollie's cool with.

Hopefully now that Nyssa is in Starling we'll be seeing more of her and she'll be given more development.

Why did Ra's wear the Arrow outfit at the end? He has an army of ninjas he could get to do that whilst he stay at home in his hot tub.
