Should be happy my DL is going fast...but really makes no difference still have over 33 hours to go :-(
That's the exact same thing I'm doing lolGoing with a Skill build (Professional origin) and the cane.
Tuesday can't come soon enough.

Apparently both the CE and standard edition are sold out at Best Buy Online.
Nice to see the game selling well.
The CE is sold out on Gamestop's site too (no idea about in-store but more than likely sold out too)
Amazon still lists the CE as being available there
The saving grace of that artwork is the centralised 'From Software' logo, that looks great.
Yea my Dark Souls build was a two handed strength build. I did do a dex build in Demons Souls while dual wielding but it made the game too easy. So I decided on skill for this game due to the combat differences.*high five*
I always started with a Strength build in the Souls series. With the emphasis on speed and aggressiveness in Bloodborne, I figured I'd do something different![]()
Niche doesn't mean it won't sell. Bloodborne was created with an atypical gameplay philosophy in mind which goes against the normal AAA design.that niche game

Does anyone know how big the HDD install is if you buy the physical game?

So what's your guys's history with the Souls games?

I've been a fan since Demon's Souls and bought the collector's edition on a totally blind whim. My first collector's edition of anything ever.
My first feeling was of dread. "This is good, it's nice and challenging but ... ehh"
Didn't know where to go and was unsure to want to explore. But I did, and eventually unlocked the Phalanx boss. Lost to it. Then learned about its weakness to fire and in a nerve wracking battle, defeated it. And it felt so good. It just clicked at that moment.
Felt so good to own the artbook/collector's edition too.
I unfortunately cant afford it this time around, but standard is good enough for me. Will probably upgrade sometime down the generation

How is the framerate in the game? I know i should base anything on streaming material but, yeah it looked kinda shitty
Merely judging by the streams isn't the best way to do this. The streams I watched were so choppy it was impossible to tell at what framerate the game actually ran.
So what's your guys's history with the Souls games?
I don't think I'll ever be Soul-ed out
I know man I also said in my post that stream shouldnt be used as a means to judge framerate , that is why i am asking here, since some people already play the game.

Most indications point to a solid 30 with the occasional drops. Someone said it was the best performing FROM game, Souls wise.
All i've heard is that it's the most stable console souls title yet.
all impressions ive seen from gaf/reddit folks who own the game say its mostly solid - improvement from say dark souls on consoles. definitely no blighttown level areas where the fr is constantly dropping.
