Yeah I already created a new character just because the cane wasnt cutting it... literally. It misses when standing right next to the boss :S
Same, too frustrating it's cool but a piece of shit.

Huh?Yeah I think I'm gonna reroll. The cane has been cool for group combat but it is pitiful against anything else.
Also, am I going a bit nuts or am I not respawning with stuff anymore?
Seems like it. Advice:I used pebbles to draw them to me one-by-one. Made picking them off easier.
Can just run by them. They don't ALL leash.
Anyone know a shortcut to first boss? I can't beat the 2 wolves just before (cane does almost no damage) and I have no interest running through the trash mobs again...

He didn't have the game(But he's a friendly dude helping out), but I wouldn't know which gesture it is, unless you can unlock gestures...?
Huh?

Wooow.Drop rate gets lower the more you kill the same mobs. Which can happen when dying repeatedly to a stupid boss. The atmosphere for the game is amazing btw.
Awesome, thanks.run past the two wolves. There should be path on the left with a guy standing in front it a bit further ahead. It should lead into a house. Open the door and and keep going and you should make it back to the Central Yarnham campfire. Good shortcut to the first boss.
Damn, I guess I'll try one more time for my souls and then go back to the hub to buy me some pebbles and molotovs. Thanks
You know when you get up the bridge where the werewolves are at? Go to the opposite side of the bridge and go down the small steps- there's where you can grab an item look in the back and you'll see the sewers. You can roll down, but keep a close eye on where you fall down to.
You can buy all the starting weapons in the hub area. There's messengers in a pot to the left when you go into the Hunter's Dream
I love the Elder Scrolls games. What that in mind, will I enjoy this game? I've never played Dark Souls.
.moved from the last page
Took a video of my first attempt against the Cleric Beast.
Gonna be honest, I find this game so much more stressful than Dark Souls. Very reminiscent of the feeling I had when playing Demon's Souls.
Anyway, here's the vid. I think youtube is still processing it? Hard to tell

The cane will be a fun weapon once you have beaten it and are a boss at the game.
They show up after a certain (early) point!!Actually hang on, I don't see them available.
Wait, I don't need to die/defeat Cleric in order to level up? Can I just use Homeward Bone? How much do they cost in the stores? How long does it take to cast?
So are there covenants in this game?
