I'll stream later, hopefully some chalice dungeons and some boss attempts (~15 hours into the game)

Will talk german and it would be cool if some of you would remember my channel or even give me a heart <3

See you in ~6 hours :D

Managed to get 90 minutes done earlier and the game is a lot of fun. Got up to the bridge and then turned back to buy some armour and flasks. Can't wait to explore more of the world later.

Could only play for 3 hours this morning.

I beat the Cleric Beast on the first try (ever, as I did not play the alpha nor any event build), felt very good about this.
My trusty Hunter's Axe +2 shone through! (Molotov Cocktails too but shhhhh)

Before going forward though I'm going to farm blood echoes to buy what's available in the shop.

I only found (in the wild that is, not counting buyable ones) one more trick weapon, the
Saw Spear
. I have it in slot 2 so I can have a quick weapon for weak enemies.

Quick question, after exhausting Gerhmans (wheelchair bro)dialogue, he disappeared. The doll mentions him in her opening dialogue, but now I can't find him. Is this intentional or is it bugged, and if it's bugged is it a problem?

How does this feel compared to Dark Souls? Is it faster/less heavy?

I'm sorry, Dark Souls didn't quite click with me, but this looks interesting!

So...about that co-op? How does it work? What is the co-op mode like? Full campaign co-op?

Could somebody please answer me?

You can help random people at bosses or during singleplayer. You can specify those people with a password.
You can share chalice dungeons (random generated dungeons) with friends and those have multiple layers etc. somehow like rifts in Diablo 3.

Thank you! Took three tries and five pages, but thank you very much!

Sounds great.

Hey so what is it about that Wheelchair dude everyone keeps mentioning? What am I supposed to do? I remember killing a wheelchair person like an hour ago and just restarted my game after hearing about it. What am I supposed to do with him?

i found him behind the house, but he was asleep and i couldn't talk to him

Just a heads up about summoing...
it uses up an insight when you ring the bell, regardless of whether or not anyone actually joins you.

Seems broken and something to be patched.
did you try to use the password in the OP?

also how do see if you find someone or not, sure how it works exactly.

Man. Cane is a neat idea, but holy fuck is it weak to start. Got the first boss to 25% with that piece of shit. Switching to a real weapon :(

There's the guy from the opening cutscene in the house on the hill in the hub area. There also seem to be wheelchair enemies in the dark house in the first area but he respawns.

As someone who only played a little bit of DS, but didn't love it, I am loving this. Much more of an emphasis on offense and movement.

I don't understand the complaints with the cane. It's the typical weaker but faster weapon with the added benefit of really good group control. Plus, the R1 whip-to-cane animation is the best thing ever.

between dying constantly, the load screens, and running through the same areas over and over

idk.. this series might not be for me :(

feels like a game i could enjoy watching a good person play

It's not for everyone. You might want to try doing some co-op if you stick with it. The first time I tried Demon's Souls back in '09, I felt like I wasted my money. I got through the first area but the lack of direction in that game had me playing in areas that I felt were too hard for a beginner. And I wasn't going to grind out the first area over and over again. A year later, I went back to it and tried it again. It clicked with me.

My best friend tried the game when I did. His wife was out of town and he was determined to get into the game. He ended up buying some whiskey and trading the game in the next day lol.

So again, it's not for everyone.

Ok this question will probably annoy a lot, but it is done in good and honest spirit.

The game looks like it is amazing, probably a must play.

I have finished Demon Souls and started Dark Souls 1, but eventually dropped it. Back then I came to the realization that this type of game probably isnt for me.

My question is, is Bloodborne more "accessible" than its predecessors? Not necessarily easier, but just accessible in the sense of a normal difficulty curve and such.

Damn I'm no Souls vet, I only played DS2 to completion (many of you will call it the easiest of the Souls) So I was expecting to be hung up at the start for a long time but nope...Cleric Beast went down on the first try, fuck yeah!

2nd boss I had within the final 1/4th of his bar when he got me :(

Awesome game so far, I really like the new flow of combat.

Dies on Cleric twice with a cane character. Thought it would be a cakewalk but nope, he hits hard and fast.

Started an axe user that I'm using to co-op with a friend and got to the same point with him.

Feels great. I think we'll be playing this one for a long time.

Holiest of shits. I really hope the game arrives today. It was dispatched on Friday, I probabaly didn't fit my mailbox yesterday so I'll get to check it out today.

BLOOD IS STREAMING IN THE NETHER REGIONS.
