Wait I thought that in Old Yharnam
the Black Church set stopped the dude from gatling gunning you. He's still shooting the fuck outta ma.
you need to get and equip those clothes before "invading" his territory, I think. I did the same and went to him before getting the set.

Try kiting them back down into the room. Have fun.

Fire works well!

:p

Have a torch? shove them back with a torch a couple of times, does decent damage, then mess them up

Alright, the biggest thing is to be aggressive and dodge, backstep and the lock on help a lot but learning to switch between that is a huge boon to you.

One two smacks? great, dodge back off to get some stamina while still looking for openings.

The key thing about these fights is that hitboxes are tight, in fact when you get to the
cleric beast
you
can roll through his attacks and legs to get behind him for an attack. Being NImble is key here, these werewolves train you for the
Cleric
.

If you go by the house with the dude in the wheelchair, you can get to them by the second floor, attract them, go back to the building, then cheese them from inside the building. They can still hit you tho.

Thanks for the tips. I'll try these later tonight.

Hey all I just beat the third boss and got wrecked by the bag guys. Now I can't get back to
the unseen village no matter how many times the bag guy kills me. What's going on?
I know it's further in the game than where I probably should be by I want to explore for loot.

You can go from the dream, use the other tombstone.

So besides the weapon in the OP are there more. I mean, Im okay with it being those but like different variation of them. Or is it those weapons and leveling them up?

Strategy spoilers that makes the third/fourth boss easy!
For the Blood-starved Beast, stay locked-on and in front of it. It will always do a single or dual slash, both which are easy to quick step backwards from. At the end of each slash, hit it once or twice with an extended weapon. I used Saw Cleaver and it was trivially easy this way.

I love you, LOL.

You know the area with the crows and that big dude who is banging on the wall? If memory serves, there is an area on the left filled with crates and stuff. Destroy those, and that will uncover a drop down with some of the beasts In a cage. Follow the path into the house and go up the stairs
I can't find it :(

There's what, 4 melee weapons in the OP?

I currently have
10. So yes, there's plenty more.

damn, the hunter with the raven armor seems to disappear after some progress, he's not where he's supposed to be. anyone knows of an alternative way to get the armor and weapon?

The second boss is kicking my ass.
I keep running into the enviorment during his second form.

a lot of my strat with that one was to just run away until he did one of those long frenzy combos, and then swoop in for one hit before running again. Lock on can get you in trouble there, so when you're retreating be sure to not be locked on and actually look where you're going.

If I'm going into the sewers around were that giant pig is without finding the first boss, have I gone too far? On that bridge their were a few different options on where to go and I headed to the sewers, just seems like a long way without hitting a boss.

the boss is on the bridge with the werewolves. Another boss is up the ladder to the right of the pig's tunnel. Either can be done first.

This are only questions:
do you mean the female hunter? If so could you remind me what was the second item she gives you by engaging in a conversation with here twice? Also did you attack her? I did and I'm worried this might end IP being bad news...

Couple of questions:

1. How do you equip runes?

2. How do equip those messenger dress up items?

3. How do you open the locked door at the top of the cathedral workshop?

4. How do you make chalice dungeons? I have a Chalice already

Quick question, and I want the vaguest answer possible because I want to go into the game as blind as possible when it unlocks for me Thursday midnight:

Do we know what the Beasthood stat does yet? If we do how awesome is it? Don't actually tell me what it actually is though. If that makes sense.

Just purchased this!

Never played a souls game and I've only watched maybe 5 minutes of video tops so I'm going in blind but I love challenging shit.

This game is a great game and all, but holy shit are the load times painful. Like, it's a seriously problem with the game. It never bothered me with Demon's Souls or Dark Souls, but for this it does. For a game that is designed around you dying constantly, they really fucked up.

I'm really enjoying the game, but this is a game that should be designed with load times being non-existent. Really disappointing.

. I meant the guy in one of the rooms of the area which leads to the sewers in yharnam. only saw it on a stream.
