Finally reached the first boss, and beat it in my first try.

It was going pretty rough for me up until that point, but then it clicked, and I started to get the knack for fighting through the mobs. I also got some gear and that helped too.

Those damned dogs just before the first boss kept killing me so I just ran past them, lol. Seemed to be a fine tactic for the moment.

Yea, it's easier than ever to run past shit so far. Not too many chokepoints.

I hate the transformed moveset of the spear, it's like wielding scythes 1 handed in Dark Souls

Haven't really played a souls game, and had no idea I could lose all of my blood echoes permanently by not recovering them. Lost 13k points. I haven't beaten the first boss yet, should I just start over? At least now I know I should be frequently buying things.

Looked like completely missing shadows. He's even in an area right now where it's dark and he's holding a torch and his body isn't casting a shadow on the ground at all.

Can anyone help me? So last night I was fighting a boss and ended up dying. Decided to go to sleep so I turned it off. Booted it up a little bit ago, killed the boss in co-op (does this affect anything regarding blood echoes still on the ground?), only to find that my blood echoes were nowhere to be found.

I don't think the boss had my blood echoes because I had the exact same amount as I had last night, and no additional blood echoes from killing the boss.

Is this a glitch? :/

Molotov cocktails. There's also a dead NPC in the area with the giant slamming on the door with two oil urns that can enhance the fire's effect if thrown at them first.

haven't noticed that one. Damn I hope I can explain my self. At yarkham's centre lamp, if you already opened the door by the left go straight and cross the building where you open two doors. Justo cross it and you'll see a shiny red window. Before going downstairs, break some old boxes at the right to enter the ceiling. At the other side(watch out not to fall) there is again another bunch of stuff and if you destroy them once again you'll find a passage that takes you to the hunter.

I don't know why but I really love how the loading screen is just the title of the game with nothing else. It's like mocking you, in that its letting you know that this game is crushing you with defeat every time you die.

Started with the Hunter’s Axe, debating if I should get the Kirkhammer for 3000 echoes. The Axe feels really, really good for PvE and I feel like the Kirkhammer might not be. Can’t find any videos of its sword-mode moveset.

The biggest obstacle for me in the Cleric Beast fight is the camera. I can get him down nearly all the way by skirting around to his left, but it always ends up where I am pinned in and can't see shit. I'll be glad to see the back end of this boss. Fuck.

Arena is more open, second boss’s reach is not as long, attacks don’t feel as damaging (but could be because you can level up before that boss). And of course by then you probably know the mechanics better. I beat the second boss on my first try.
