If you're going digital, the Hero edition is just the game. The Champion and Royal Editions include various digital bonuses.

Hero Edition is most basic one you are going to find, e.g. on GoG it's 42€.

This is a great point.

This is also one of the reasons which make me believe that Divinity:OS' late review copy availability actually helped the game's review scores. Reviewers were playing the game at the same time as fans did, and could see the enthusiasm about the title. I really think the reviews could have gone quite differently had they be done in isolation from the player base.

I know everyone gets tired of Souls comparisons all the time but I think the critical reception of Demon's Souls would have been drastically different if it wasn't for the positive buzz from people who had imported.

It's quite rich. They got into great detail about virtually everything. I don't think I'll absorb even a quarter of it by the time the game is released.

Well, technically, you weren't 100% wrong: OTs can go up on the earliest release date of the game, AFAIK. It doesn't affect PoE, but for other games, some regions tend to have to wait... *cough*europeandaustralia*cough*

If the digital goods are available right away with the pre-load, I'm really going to regret only getting the Hero edition. My money I had put up for Royal upgrade ended up getting sucked up to a sudden emergency.

Does anyone know if the documentary included with the champion/royal edition is longer than the two parts they already posted?
