There's also consumable items that'll send you back without losing your Blood Echoes, if you have any. Can't remember what they're called, look in your inventory. They're the equivalent of Homeward Bones from Souls.

The speed. Having to keep in mind the other person's weapon tranformation. Regain. Having to bait and undestand when not to spam for fear of the countershot. THE SPEED.

I lost both fight but hell if it wasnt fun as fuck! First fight dude was using the greatsword, which moveset ive never seen, had to learn on the fly. Second fight was a mirror match against someone using the kirkhammer. I got parried, he got parried, we both healed like dishonorable scrubs and kept going at it. So fun guys. RING THE BELL in Old Yharnam! im waiting for you! Lvl 23 ;]

Souls new here. I've really gotten the hang of the combat, but I'm confused about something. Should I be finding more of those portal points that leave me closer to where I die, or do I literally have to slog through every enemy I killed for the past 20 minutes to get back to where I died again?

It's more likely that you need to find and open a shortcut back to where you were earlier, so that if you die you can bypass that whole section.

Seriously though, I use em up. Plus if you run out and have blood vials you can hit up on the d-pad to get 5 blood shots. I usually hoard supplies but not in Bloodborne

Yeah, think I'm gonna look around and grind for a bit. I'm only doing about 30 per hit to a boss that has HP in the thousands.

They took it too far IMO. The first boss is harder than Gwyn. Third harder than O&S.

I have died like 10 times already and im fighting the first monster lolol faill!

I died three times to the were-thing, then figured out to equip my weapon... for some reason I thought it would appear when I started fighting.. I was mistaken. However, made it easy to beat after that...

My main problem is swinging and missing cause I'm either not locking on or panicing with the stick....

I will say, dem loading screens... may take it slow/work my backlog some, until they patch to make it loading shorter or come back and say we can't fix it... at the very least give me something to read, hell DA:I had a wall of text and only a few seconds to read it...
