I ended up double-dipping to get the physical Guidebook. Reading through some of it now and it's very good. The history and lore of the world already has me deeply interested.

How many of you are going to play on Expert mode? If not, which helper functions do you plan to disable?

No plans to, the auto pause function looks really good for my shit reflexes

Heads-up. We are going to release the keys soon. We have all the keys in the Backer Portal and are doing some additional testing before putting it live.

Once the keys are live I will post an excerpt from an update we are releasing tomorrow that talks about how to redeem your rewards. I will make sure to pin the thread for you guys.

Basically, when Expert mode is disabled all the check boxes under Expert mode are on by default, but you can turn each one off individually if you wish.

Yeah definitely turning that off, better not to see the hints of the options that would have been.

Expert mode seems to be pretty hardcore. Not seeing exactly where aoe spells will actually go for example. An Expert Path of the Damned Trial of Iron sounds like an true gaming achievement.

AoE is the only one I'm keeping.

It's great that those are options. Obsidian cares!

I'm really tempted to turn off the personality/rep tags, but even with full dialog choices there's still times when I'm dumbfounded by the way they're actually interpreted.

From looking at the KS page it seems that the $20 level is Hero, the $50 level is Champion, and the $110+ levels are Royal. i might be wrong though.
