Yeah but I think going up 5-8 levels in a few hours plus all the blood gems you find add up. First thing I did was hit the stamina soft cap.

Also, I am losing my mind not having a shield. I know this works differently but I can't stand it. I think the gun is near useless. I never once parried an attach in any of the previous games and I really don't like using this.
I don't even get how it's supposed to work. Sometimes I shot a guy in his attack animation and he stops, the other %90 of the time they just keep attacking and get me because I used the gun. It needs to be consistent if I'm going to use it. I also think there is a major inconsistency in the dodge animation. Sometimes you can avoid an attack and sometimes you get hit with the attack anyways.
I feel like I can't make any battle plans, it's just hit dodge, hi dodge and hope I don't die : (

I actually took a screenshot last night of my What's New feed, because it was literally 9+ tiles of Bloodborne... it wouldn't let me share it though. I suppose privacy limits (visible usernames)....

I really want to try this game, I love RPGs and playing games with a challenging aspect to it. I haven't played any of the Souls series, would I be able to do alright jumping into Bloodborne?

Don't think you can actually consistently riposte the first boss. He seems to have some sort of meter which needs to be lowered before he goes down.
I think the starter pistol is faster but has a smaller range and the blunderbuss is slower but has a longer range (timing wise). So far, I don't know if its early or late but for bosses, I tend to shoot at specific frames which has been pretty successful.
As for the Kirkhammer, the damage varies depending on how and where you hit. I do 50 damage sometimes when its at the edge as opposed to hitting them full on center with the hammer which does 350.
I think double tapping the Share button takes a screenshot without needing to go into the Share menu.

Pretty sure that tatcic is not 100% proof. Before I finally pushed him off the roof with my whip, I had tried numerous times to do it and he would jusy skip my bullet by dodging it. Same with molotovs.

From the first lamp post, go left. Down the stairs and to the area with two guys with bricks. Run past them to elevator. Go down. Then go up over birdge past rolling boulder. Up to the left is graveyard with boss. Takes 1-2 minutes to get there.
I went there but the stump gives me no option for anything.

There is a set down in the sewers at the end of the waterway but it's not that much better IMO. IT boosts some things and drops others.
you need 10 insight to buy the bell to be summoned.

Then you need to open it from the other side first. Go down into the sewers and up the ladder past the pig. The elevator will be open. Ride it up and this unlocks it for further use.
Quick way to sewers is go past bonfire with all the town folk, and loop around behind them. There is a hidden ladder up there (facing bonfire from start its up on high right side) then climb down. Follow water way past crows and to pig. Up ladder to right of pig and over on left you see elevator.
Oh wow, didn't even notice. I'm heading into the unseen village now.

BB still looks fantastic, really all I see are more fog effects and less. The fog effects might have even been hindering. It was a game in development.
Ha, i am guessing there is a second way to get to his area then, didn't know that. The lamp i was referencing was one in front of the portion
with the hunter machinegunning you from on top of the tower.

I felt the same, but on the bright side you can farm blood vials on the way to him (parry and kill the brick guys instead of running past), whereas when I was dying to the Cleric Beast, I'd kill a ton of guys on the way and get jack shit. You might run out of bullets, but you can convert health to bullets, so it works out okay in this particular scenario.

Guys, I feel like I cheated. I only tried the 2nd boss once before bed last night and died of course. Well, this morning, just to see what it was like, I tried the Beckoning Bell at the boss. Chimed it, game looked for a player, found someone. He comes upto me and bows, I bow back and we head through the fog to the boss. We get him into second form so quick and then I played the music box while he just takes him out. After the fight, we waved to each other and he left. It was so easy. I feel like I cheated but I'm also amazed how cool of an experience it was.
Not just that, I know few people that caved in and are buying PS4 just because of Bloodborne. So, it will push some pS4 sales too. Is there stopping SONY at this stage? This train keeps on rolling, lol.
