Naah it's glitched. I had over 50 bullets and 70 blood vials. Died once, never used bullets. Now stash says zero bullets and only 20 vials in storage.

you're not alone

if it's the same storage bug that others got hit with, your supposed bullet count will change to match your vial count, but will never actually be there.

Would anyone recommand this for a devil may cry and ninja gaiden lover? I want to jump into the game but demons souls was not for me due to its slow nature.

Slow nature as in the combat? BB is quite a bit more faster paced than Demon's Souls in that regard.

Thread-cane is so good. Just beat the Cleric Beast on my first attempt.

The art design in this game is at another level. I don't think anything is going to touch it for a long time.

On the hunters dream, there is a hidden path on the left side, look for a hollow three with those little ghouls speak to them to change skins. there are some ghouls on the ground with the skins as a gift

I can't stop thinking about this game at work, its just so damn good. I can't even fathom playing a game in my backlog with this waiting for me.

Well, it is faster, but it's still a game that's much more about footwork and landing opportune hits than building combos. If the speed of previous games was your only problem with it, you could give it a try, but it's hardly a character action game. Still impossibly hard, still requires a great deal of patience, still requires precision over quick reflexes even if it does now require both.

Old Yharnam is creepy as fuck. I love it.

Co-op is seemingly starting to work better for me today. Yesterday, I couldn't get anyone at all.

There is a messenger stuck in remains of a tree to the left in the mainhub (walk left when you're at the door and you should find a path (also the same place where you pick up the preorder stuff like tophat for them etc.) talk to the messenger there and you should be able to give them the item you want them to use.

Thanks for that I have a much more clearer point about the game now.

I died a shit load before I got too that point  The massive crew of dudes around that pyre are a pain in the ass D: also dawgs D:

EDIT: I mean second. I assume he was supposed to kill you anyway. still chuffed it only took 2 attempts tho

I dislike how Souls games online is broken every release.

Spent two insight and I can't get anyone to join my game.

Why is insight consumed when no one even joins you?

How long did you wait? When you use the bell, you'll notice a little icon of a bell up next to your name. That means it's constantly ringing, you just have to wait. If nobody's joining you it's because nobody else is ringing there bell near where you're standing. Generally you're more likely to get help if you do it right outside of a Nightmare Fog door. Anyway, just keep the bell up.

I have 10.

There are weird arbitrary areas you can't use the bell in. Try moving a couple hundred feet and try again.

For instance, you can't use it in front of most boss gates. Which is absolutely ridiculous. You need to run further back away from the gate to ring it.

Center town lantern (usually the second lantern waypoint on the hunter dream,
Cleric beast
lantern is the third)

Ok then. So center town lantern.
Let's say I'm looking forward, so the shortcut to boss is on my left, path to the patrols going up and down the alley and the bonfire is on the right, and the way to first area is behind me. Which of those 3 paths holds the music box? Left, right, or behind?

Yes I am talking about the combat mainly, is it also as punishing as the demon and dark games?

Yeah, it's just as hard imo. You're much faster in BB, but so are the enemies. The combat focus being switched to offense makes it similar to the changes of Ninja Gaiden 2 from Ninja Gaiden Black. The combat is pretty awesome in this. The varied weapons each being unique is similar to how Ninja Gaiden 2 handled its multiple weapons as well.

Guys what is the way to enter someone ELSE'S world? I dont want any help in mine, but I want to play with others

You need 10 insight, then a merchant will appear in the hub. They'll sell items for 1 insight each (unlimited uses) that allow you to help/invade others.

You need 10 insight. Then you need to go back to the dream refuge, there's a hidden vendor just outside 1 of the doors of the building.

You can buy a small resonant bell for 1 insight, this lets you offer your assistance to other players

Actually, better question: can you parry the actual bosses? This manbearpig (boss 1) I had to the half-way point but died trying to get the parry down.

Have to encounter first boss. It will show up the next time you enter Hunter's Dream.

Ah ok. I figured this thing was holding my bell. Thanks for the help.

I am using in areas where I could use it before...

Four regions down and there don't appear to be any builds. Feels extremely narrow compared to the Souls games.

Stat-wise you just pump vit and end and meet the str+sk requirements for whatever weapon you want to use, since there are no alternate ways of playing that I can discern (like being a mage or archer or whatever).

There also has been no itemization progression however many (20?) hours in I am. Basically you just upgrade your preferred trick weapon to the max + level currently allowable with shards (the shard type changes as you get farther in), and pick whatever costume you like the look of (all come with major tradeoffs in stats, no clear advantage) or stick to the default hunter gear for good balanced stats, which is kind of like Demons Souls in that regard.

That's about it. The only cool things to find so far are consumables and blood gem weapon modifiers (which are pretty minor in terms of effects), and I guess emblems which unlock new things to buy at the shop, but most of the emblems are meant to be found.

How many hours does that equate to?

Or how many bosses?
