Is there a written version of that "beginners guide" video? I'm at work ATM and can't watch it
Not that I'm aware of its fairly long around 12 minutes. Just turn closed captioning on and read it that way lol

Any tips on how to get insight?
Fuuuu there are two of them?!His asshole friend down below is worse. He kept running forward and shooting at me. Then ran into range of the tower dude. He was trying to lure me over there and wouldn't come fight me.
I cant find any indication that it is installing...
I'm not using the GAF password just FYI, if you are lol
Im pretty sure this is going to be an unpopular opinion but i think the parry window is too large

How can people say this game has bad graphics. The game looks really good and the art style is amazing.

So I can technically "beat" the game right now. My thoughts on the difficulty in MSPaint chart form.

is the repeating pistol in any way shape or form ever worth it? a slight increase of damage doesn't seem important for a gun, but is there something I'm missing?

Are you sure you've downloaded the patch? You won't be able to play online without that.
I ran up to him as soon as i got off the ladder and threw him off the building.
I would rage so hard if you had to fight that.
Speaking of that, I just helped someone with that fight. They seemed to stun the boss when itentered its third form and I had no idea what was going on. Did I miss something?

Should the game not do that it self? Where do i find the patch there is nothing bloodborne related on psn.

So I'm able to fortify my axe, should I do it? Only adds +9 attack and blunt (not sure what that is). Still learning the ropes.
The patch should start downloading once you've put the disk in. It'll be listed in your downloads regardless of whether its in progress or installed.
Theres a music box you can get from a little girl in a window that when used stuns him for a few seconds when he's in his third form. Only way I was able to beat him

Honest critiques about 10-15 hours in:
-It might just be me, but the map/layout of the city areas can be a little bit confusing. In Dark Souls when you unlocked a short-cut, it was pretty much always "sweet, that's where it takes me!". In Bloodborne, more often it is "okay, where the hell am I now? I seem to vaguely remember this place...".
I don't know never had that problem. I thought it was cool like in Demons' Souls.
-In the early going, there isn't nearly as much customization with armor, weapons, etc and the lack of rings is too bad because they always had some really interesting effects. Like EviLore, I have yet to see any point in stat builds besides adequate Strength/Skill to meet weapon requirements, and then pump VIT and Stamina. I can't help but think that these changes are going to seriously hamper replayability.
Trust me.. that will change with NG+ where the real game begins. Just specialize in one skill on the initial run.
-Loading is long, obviously, but it would have been nice if there had been item descriptions on the loading screens again; that was always fun. I wonder if they didn't do it this time because there appears to be much less equipment in the game.
I hate that too but hopefuly the patch will fix that a bit.
-Only having consumable items (both healing and ammo) is annoying. You get tons of them, yes, but I've run out multiple times now and had to go farming for both healing items and bullets. I thought Dark Souls 2 handled this very well, having limited rechargable healing items plus the consumables, so I wish they would have used that again.
You won't do this after a bit anymore because you will enough money to stack healing items. At the latest in NG+
-Certain areas in the game are damn dark. I've got brightness cranked up both in-game and on my TV, with my torch out, and I can't see shit in some places. It seems like most of the later areas I've been to don't have this problem. I understand mood/atmosphere (like Tomb of the Giants in DS) but it's a bit much for me.
This is not cool. The areas are dark because you are required to use the torch...
Aside from those points, I am really enjoying the game. Again, I'm only 10-15 hours in so these aren't final impressions, but I have a hard time seeing this game stacking up with Dark Souls as far as quality/replayability/legacy when all is said and done.
You haven't seen anything!![]()
Is this like Dark Souls 2 where the enemies in an area disappear after you kill them off a certain numbers of times-to prevent excessive grinding?
