Yes, it was probably me you read this from. I already reserved my Gold Mario amiibo and I believe it was proved the boxes for South America and NA were the same. I'll post pictures of it when I get it next week for scrutiny, just to make sure.
Been busy been awesome.

So Gold Mario started popping up for store pickup in my area...ordered one from my home store to keep, and spitefully bought out the store that fucked me over on launch night. If the dumbuck store orders go through I'm willing to sell them for cost. Not promising anything till I get them in hand; just throwing it out there.

Yeah, fuck this store. I put in PayPal as my payment method and they canceled it claiming that they "couldn't verify my payment method". Just called to talk to an actual person; she was super nice and checked into it: no stock. Either the website is glitched out or that asshole fucking piece of shit cashier from launch night is hoarding them again.
Any thoughts on importing? It's a bit more expensive (usually) but you can usually get amiibos easier that way. Unless you're collecting them of course and want only one kind of box.

God the Wal-Mart pickup system is fucked. The desktop site and the mobile site show different statuses for the same orders and can't agree on who actually has stock or not.

Hah, this "can't process your payment method" shit is totally bogus. Wal-Mart charges my card, then I get a refund for the exact amount so it evens out. What the fuck, looks like it processed to me.

Another day without wave 4 preorders on the US. It's been quite a journey. I quit my job to stay at my computer 24/7 while refreshing each main retail's website every 10 seconds with my right hand while writing memories, poems and trolling websites with my left hand. My wife has left me and now she is dating my ex-good old friend Jerry. My pet turtle just passed away last week because I don't have money left for turtle food. I only have the necessary for preordering Ness, Pac-Man and maybe Lucina if she doesn't have a derpy face. It's amazing how last year I was about to become CEO on the company I used to work... but it doesn't matter anymore. Amiibo brings me happiness. Every day when I take a 5 minute break to pee I spend 4 minutes and 31 seconds admiring my amiibo collection, my favorites are Little Mac and Kirby.
Today was a bad day because I had the insane urge to open a Captain Falcon just to try it out on MK8 and play a few races online with my left hand while continue refreshing retail websites. Decided to chop my left hand to stop the urge of open it. It was for the good. I'm proud of myself. My lovely collection will always stay carefully intact. I have more than 500 pictures of each amiibo on my collection to admire them. My favorite is Kirby and Little Mac. Amiibo brings me happiness. Amiibo is love.
What is this... Now I want to open a Pikachu to see if it works on Hyrule Warriors. I know it's not compatible but.... BuT... I cAn't ContRol my hAND anyumore... TH knife,.., WherE's the KniiFeeE??? Som3bdy helppppppp meeeeee.... REEEEEEGGIEEEEEEE!!11

UPS says they delivered it today despite never being "out for delivery" and the status being stuck in limbo for a day or two. Since stock is low I don't think Walmart can ship me a new Gold Amiboo, so I'm probably just going to get my money back from them, which sucks. I've also never dealt with their customer service over a lost order, so who knows how that will go.
