Sometimes enemies have your souls, and sometimes they are in a traditional free-standing pile.
I don't know exactly what determines why an enemy gets them. At first I thought it was the enemy that killed you, but that has definitely not been the case for me always. I think it might just randomly give it to a nearby creature.

Whats the followup attack on it
I have noticed that every charged R2 has a SICK followup attack if you have enough Stamina to hit R2 again

Father G is just a twat. I can get him to his
pretty much without losing any life and then I die within seconds. I can't parry his jump attack. What am I doing wrong?

OK I just watched ENB walkthrough #3 and he address it (Concerning the little girl looking for parents side quest).
It looks like if you don't give her the broach she won't just go into dispair and you can send her off to be safe.

Any enemy nearby can pick up your echoes...except bosses.
That's true sometimes. There are times your blood echoes will just be lying on the ground. There are other times where an enemy will hold them, denoted by glimmering blue eyes.

a secret passage in the Unseen Village that leads to the key.
I think it's a downswipe...? I don't remember exactly.
Try rolling forward when he jumps at you. You should end up behind him.

Use the trees and terrain to bait him to miss his attacks
Make sure to dodge as well.
After his jump and three hit combos he has a significant cooldown window to punish him.
Hit him with a big charged R2 and dodge back immediately after and keep using the terrain to force him to miss.
You can also use the Music Box to stun him and get a backstab as well... Popular strategy

Ludwig's Blade is easily the best weapon in the game so far. I have it at like +5 right now I think. It's amazing.

Can someone tell me when I'll be able to equip runes? I have 2 areas to proceed, the forest and hemwick and wanna know which one gets me to runes faster.

It's The Zweihander and Astoria's Great sword combined the thrust charge move is pretty clutch has a good range keeps bad guys at a distance.

Anybody? The guy does a hell of a lot more damage than I do. Can kill me in 3-4 hits. Riposting him doesn't do that much damage and that's with a Kirkhammer +4 with 20 points in Strength.
Also, will have to summon from Old Yharnam since it wont let me summon in Cathredal Ward or Central Yharnam.

I have that same one and it SLOWLY regens your health. Nice for long treks but ultimately not very good unless you can somehow stack the effect since Vials drop regulary
Save some oil and molotovs for the second half of the battle
Gotcha, thanks. Glad it doesn't do it for the bosses. Wasn't sure after dying to the two wolfs on the bridge and trying to get my 3k blood echoes back.

I don't really like them, but I've grown pretty used to the cane and haven't spent too much time with it. If you have extra mats, I'd say give it a shot.

Yeah I'm wondering this too.
Man, I felt like the forest was one of the best levels. The way it twists and turns, all the hidden stuff, and how it winds together is just master class level design. But yeah, some of the enemies there are... well, Resident Evil 4. I'll leave it at that.

Hello guys, I finally got it the Nightmare Edition.
- The box itself got such a horrifying texture. Fits perfectly the theme of the game.
- Each item got its own compartment on the steel book chest.
- The bell works properly, I was able to invade my cats world and give him a few jump scares in the end the cat got the best of me. He was a master using its insight and I lost.
- The little boxes ( the ones containing the bell and the pen) are labeled Bloodborne.
- Fun notice also, the plastic that comes wrapping the pen box contains some interesting notes.
- Haven't open the book and the little guide but will make sure to do it during the weekend (I will focus on playing atm).

lol yup, been trying to find someone to help me with the gatling gun fight for a while and no luck
You get a new weapon after you beat the game that is great for a skill build. But if you're getting bored I say just switch it up, depending on how far you are.
