Holy shit! Forbidden F
orest___
NPC spoilers.
Guy on the rooftop didn't seem on the level, what with the dead girl next to him and all, so I killed him and then SUDDENLY SATANBEAST. I knew it, you guy. So awesome.

Anything good after killing the giant pig in the sewers? Is it worth the risk?

you unlock all the starting weapons in the store if you want to try the ones you didnt choose

Possible glitch? I know I've looted the Radiant Hunter Badge and the chest where it comes is empty yet It isn't in my key items or anything. I think my save is fucked. The weapon I wanted the most...

So, what now after
Amygdala
? No idea where to go next. Are all the chalice dungeons optional or part of the main game? Yet to use a chalice.

Also, as much as I'm loving the game, the lack of loot to work towards is getting me down a bit. At least in DkS or DeS, I'd always be saving up to get that cool looking armour set. Here there are so few that the loot grind isn't really tempting.

Ok GAF. Which stats should I keep an eye out for? What do Blood Tinge and Skill do exactly? It's not clear for me even after reading the OP :(

How is the (weapon spoiler)
Rifle Spear
?

I want to try it because I want to try most of the weapons but I'm worried about screwing myself over by levelling to be able to use it, in case I don't like it. I'm 2 points under and I'm level 30-ish now (about 6k to level).

Bought the game, created a character and when I sat up it said disconnected from server and sent me back to the main menu and corrupted the save. It says the install was not completed? I've tried 3 times, same thing. Forgive me if this has been addressed.

Okay just when I thought I was clear a giant rhino/boar thing comes out of nowhere ....w...t..f..

Anyway I beat first boss now I'm so confused on where to go next x.x

Skill increases damage on weapons that require it (such as Threaded Cane), much like Strength does for the Hunter's Axe/Saw Cleaver. Bloodtinge increases firearm damage. The stats can also be needed to equip some weapons.

If I'm not mistaken there's unique loot on chalice dungeons.

I spent 3 extra points in Bloodtinge just to wield it. It's neat - the only weapon that allows you to two hand AND use your gun at the same time. It has a nice long reach also with the heavy charge up attack which seems devastating against even the big guys who love to rush you (if you can judge distance well that is).

I still prefer the axe but I can't see you going wrong with the spear either.

I think its great, the two handed charged attack have done wonders for me.

Thanks for the help earlier guys, was right there where you said. FINALLY killed bsb, just went super patient and got him.

Started the next section and needed to quit but man, every free few minutes I get I start it up. I can't stop playing this game.

The souls game have always had a way about them that they were difficult, but not cheap. So while it took forever to get through the first part and I surely got aggravated at points, when I died it was always my fault. That's what has always kept me playing these games, and you get better by sheer practice

First time hearing about this here.

Can you drop weapons in this game? Can have someone buy another one to drop for you if so.

Bloodtinge = guns.

Skill = More speed oriented weapons.

There are requirements for gear that you need a certain level in abilities to equip.

Thanks. So I should see what Origin is better depending on what starter weapon I want. I'll look into that right now.

The hunter's axe is so dumb for the early game. I just beat
Father G
and it only took me three tries which would have been two if I hadn't gotten sloppy on the second one. The reach is crazy and the charged attack knocks most of the enemies down even the bigger ones. It also has such a wide swing that you can kill groups of weaker guys with just one attack.
Like the bridge guys before Father G. One charge attack and done.
I don't really know the layout of the areas I've been to so far because I've barely died at all. Think I'm gonna do a few grinding runs to get used to the surroundings a bit more.

I could try to help if you want, but to be honest I cheated and got him to fall to his death when I fought him.

Yeah my plan was to try and do that. I just rang the bell and managed to get two guys into my game and I made it to him....and didn't have my gun equipped and fumbled with the controls and died. Fuck me -_-

Alright, thanks :D I'll give it a try.

It depends on your playstyle. Just mind the hard caps.
I'd up End over anything first, for example.

Ok. Does anyone have a link or anything talking about the soft and hard caps? That's the one thing FROM never does right and that's give good explanations about the stats and how they truly affect you.
