i had to take a mental break from the game, i was close, the closest to beating the
and then my dad calls me to change the batteries in the fucking remote. my dad cant change batteries in a tv remote, he owned TVs before i was born. this hit me harder than i would have thought, i couldn't focus after that and i decided its breaktime. (lest i get angry)

There is another shortcut. It probably takes you 30-60 seconds to go to the boss fight.
Yes, before the valley with smoke and a hooded beast?
No. There is a way to get behind him, making the fight easy, and you get a good item for doing it. So do it

Hardest fight for me in the game so far, 7 bosses in. Really didn't like it, but the feeling of beating it? So good.
There are some areas that can be invaded regardless of whether they are searching for coop or not. Otherwise yes, you're correct.

You can invade when a particular bell maiden is actuve in the host world. They appear when Coop is initiated and in a few late game areas. If killed, Invasions stop.
If you go through where the door was broken you come to a spiral staircase. Go up there and you'll eventually get to a gate to open. This lets you from the lantern sprint to the right and fall off and drop down to where this is.
It's pretty easy to overlook but really helpful.

Nope I helped her. The other hunter attacked me, so natural I went after him. I assume I'll meet that hunter later on in the game.

I had trouble to, so instead I went to the
witches left of the castle, and then to the right of the castle, and by the time I came back to 4th boss it felt like she took 10 hits to go down.

Yeah, I'm probably going to do that on my next runthrough of the area - but I'd been exploring past him and finally had required enough echoes to buy the special emblem back at the hunter's dream, so I just dashed through, grabbed my bloodstain and hunter's marked my way the hell out of there so I could get the emblem.

You can invade co-op players and other players who have used the sinister bell. Both actions seem to draw the Bellmaiden to your world and that makes you vulnerable for invasion.
3 last invasions have been against 2 or 3 guys which I find to be even more impossible than in earlier From games.
Bail the fuck outta that place, lol.

I went for Vicar Amelia after BSB.
this fight.. so fucking annoying...
took me try after try after try, with multiple near misses -- dying with a sliver of rom's life left. guh.
I've tried killing the spiders first, tried ignoring them, no matter what it just kept going wrong. I'd advice just ignoring the spiders and going for him as hard as you can until you get lucky.
