Wow I bet your game is hard. Use it, go buy that attire over and over and sell for echoes.

Is there some official info on how this works?

Does all mobs get stronger?
Are there requirements to a certain amount to discover some stuff?

I had 99 long before I finished my first playthrough, and didnt find it especially difficult.

Doing NG+ now, and not having any big problems.

Yeah I am just not able to get summoned at the moment. I guess there's not many people who've made it to the second half of the game yet?

Insight being a difficulty scaling would explain so much about why some people are having these difficult boss fights and others don't. I've watched people with different insight levels fight the same boss and there were whole move sets that would and would not appear.

So I get my ass handed to me by Father G like 15 times but finally beat him alone. I'm doing lots of exploring in
Cathedral Ward
and expect to find
Vicar Amelia
as I had heard that was the "next" boss that was really hard. Instead I stumbled onto the turf of the
Blood starved beast
and completely annihilated it on my first attempt, even though I was poisoned the entire battle, having to use blood vials to keep my health from going down because my antidotes were not on quick select.

Did anyone else find this boss super easy? Thing was a cakewalk compared to Father G.

In the experience of this game, the bosses vary sooo much between each person.

Vicar must be the easiest boss I faced so far, along with the Cleric, I beat both 1st try.

Father and BSB took me quite a few attempts. I couldnt heal through the poison fast enough.

Yoshi-senpai! I need help. My stats are:

Vitality - 14
Endurance - 15
Strength - 11
Skill - 11
Bloodtinge - 7
Arcane - 7

Should I just be pumping Endurance as much as possible, or splitting it between Skill for my Cane?
Ignoree skill/str and let the damage increase come from upgrading your weapon and putting in runes in the weapon-sockets. Focus on going with VIT/END, and ESPECIALLY VIT to 30 since it's the soft-cap.

Basically: 2p Vit, 1p End (repeat)
Until you get 30 vit. At that point
1p Vit, 1p End, 1p Skill (repeat)
Until 40 end and 50 vit

Holy fucking shit someone tell me how to get out of the
prison area.

I got killed by one of those bag things and everything just destroys me here. I accidently found a boss too, pearl something.

Don't fight the santas.
They're harmless if you don't, you can probably kill everything else. As for way out, the big room with 2 santas on either side of you has a checkpoint to return to the dream in it on the raised part. The santas won't even follow you there.

The more I play, the more I notice that Bloodborne is basically a Ghostbusters 2 rip off.

Having a fun time with this. Certainly feels more accessible than the hour or so I put into Dark Souls.

So I have 2 10 dollar Amex gift cards and I could use that 10% off code. For some reason I'm still into physical games on the consoles. Maybe I should break that habit.

Yeah I am just not able to get summoned at the moment. I guess there's not many people who've made it to the second half of the game yet?

yesterday I waited one hour in front of BSB to get summoned.
at this point, I think it's okay to stop blaming the lack of players and come to terms with the fact that the connectivity is seriously broken in this game

I really do think enemy combat is easier in this game. I'm dying a lot less on regular enemies than I ever did in Dark Souls. The bosses are just as challenging, though.

I'm still early in the beginning, though.

Any list of -all- the zones in the game?

I'm sensing that I'm nearing the final boss but the last thing I would want to do is accidentally head over to NG+.

If you are sticking with the cane like I am, put more points into Skill. When you improve your weapon at the workbench, its scaling will also increase. I have 25 Skill and a Threaded Cane +6; my Attack is at 199 now.

I read somewhere that this game was supposed to be smaller and shorter than Dark Souls 1 + 2, but so far this seems rather gigantic.

Does this game have actual suits of metal armor, or is it all just victorian clothing? (Don't have the game, won't have it for a while, don't want to dig through pages and see possible spoilers).

Pretty much all clothing after 15-20 hours played here. Tanking/slower movement seems to go against the active nature of this game so I wouldn't be surprised if there was none at all. All clothing has pretty similar stats, the resistances is where you see big changes.

Just for this game you should.

You want access to it as much as possible.

Will only be playing this until Witcher 3.

How different is NG+? I'm not even close to beating this game, but I was wondering, is it substantially different? Or the same with harder enemies (more damage+health).

Just had my PS4 delved and set it up, put Bloodborn in happening to play, 3 hour install on the day one patch... Am I missing some PSN settings or is the network just kinda slow?

Mhm, is the vendor already available at the Hunter's Dream? You should buy the Hunter gear with that amount of blood echoes.

Yeah, already bought the Hunter gear.

Now I reached this bridge (I assume it's something related to some boss, something I read here but wasn't paying attention). Now I'm even more scared... wonder if there's any save point nearby, because I got a bunch of Blood Echoes and don't wanna die :(

Edit: Welp, died to the fucking giant dog things :(

I certainly feel less intimidated while exploring locations than DS and DS2.

still using the Hunter's Axe. Question for people who have beaten S
hadows
Of Y
harnam
.

I have various options available to me at the moment. I can carry on to bergehworth, or take the right hand path past the grand cathedral. I can also go to the Hidden village. Where do you peeps recommend i start first?

Spoilers for right before last boss.
hunter's dream is on fire
. I accidentally went to ng+ w/o completing cainhurst :(

What'd you do? She's been for me what Blood Starved Beast has been for other people.

All I did was zerg her when full HP, and when Im low move and drink vial.

When shes regenning i just keep striking.

Which was why Im perplexed people says shes hard. It was just tank and spank for me.

id you kill the two giant dogs on the bridge? If not do that and looks to the left for a path down into that building.. Through that building is a shortcut back to the last checkpoint.

Oh, and you could have gotten some free hunter gear if you explored.

so I just tried to Shareplay with my brother last night for the first time (a lightbulb came on in my head and was like "duh" why don't I just show him how to do some things) and apparently my internet connection is too low. I have average teir for Time Warner Cable and don't have a problem streaming Netflix/Amazon movies or even Playstation Now but I can't do this...what gives and how high does your upload speed have to be?
It sucks I can't take advantage of this PS4 feature.

So i have two options to
send npc characters to
Should i
send them to the cathedral or to the clinic
?

This game has me by the balls btw, its everything i hoped for and more. Will it topple DeSO has my favourite FROM game ?

Fuck me... NEAR END SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dream is on fire :(

Are you planning on doing NG++ or do you don't believe there is any reason to do that?

at this point, I think it's okay to stop blaming the lack of players and come to terms with the fact that the connectivity is seriously broken in this game

Or people just aren't using those items to summon I think the best bet is to arrange a game word and summon location with people and go from there.

So i just beat
Father Gascoigne
beat him on my 2nd try...i found him easier than the
Cleric Beast
tbh

Overall loving this game it's so so good

might already be my GOTY

R u a souls fan? This isn't a bad game to buy digitally if you are. Looks to be hundreds of hours of content here (with multiple playthroughs).

Is there a way to reactivate the
hypogeon goal
lantern?
I've killed the 3 hunters there already

Can you tell me how I get there? :p
I was looking through my inventory when I noticed a key item called
cainhurst summons
which tells you where to go. Unfortunately I don't remember where I got it :P
