It really seems like I made a mistake choosing the class with 15 points in Skill attribute. I don't care for the whip that much and it seems like the 2h axe is this best choice.

I'm at the 4th boss with my current character at lvl ~33 with 18 points in skill and 9 in strength. Think it's better to just suck it up and make a new character focused on strength?

No it's tied to insight. If you have over 15 you'll notice enemies doing more than before, like casting magic. Drop below and they'll just wack their sticks.

There isnt a reliable way to dodge them, sometimes they completely miss when i jump right as the first one is about to hit, sometimes i get hit by all of em when i do this. It doesnt help that i cant summon anyone, must have tried for like an hour now

Great game so far. The environments are highly detailed and very interesting, and I love how well interconnected the various areas are; so far, it feels even better than Dark Souls (at least in the starting areas). The only disappointing thing is how many of the deeper elements from the other Souls games are missing, though it's not a major issue since I have less time for gaming anyhow...

I've offed 4 bosses so far, and I haven't had too many issues.

How are you liking it so far? I personally think it's one of the best games I've played. Things aren't perfect, but what From game is? In spite of some technical shortcomings and glitches, the gameplay is superb, and the sense of dread when entering a new area is awesome. I'll be summoning a lot of you from my FL during my NG+, that's for sure!

also, how viable is it to upgrade my starting weapon (saw cleaver)? i´ve hardly found any bloodstone shards so far (finally beaten cleric beast) and don´t want to waste them if i may get a better weapon and they´re that hard to find.

I can't remember the amount of times I press triangle thinking I'm double-handing and I forget to use transformation combos. This is where being a Souls veteran works against you.

Haha same, realising what I did after I press triangle is painful especially after I stun an enemy.

Just finished the 2nd level of a "Lower Pthumberian Labyrinth" and it starts to get really nasty, not only was the lvl massive and packed with crazy mobs, they hit like cargotrains!

So Multiplayer is still very tricky right now

It does work but its not extremely reliable

HOWEVER me and my bids were finally able to coordinate reliably late last night! Like every time

We set it to worldwide and set a simple four letter password. Boom. Connected everytime within 60 seconds or so (connection times seem to be similar to the load times)

Im not sure what the deal is. Whether its server load or lack of people ringing bells but it should get better over time I hope. I myself plan to start helping people and grinding out echoes and insight soon. Now that I know how it works

You will get so many blood shards, don't worry about it. Just upgrade the weapon you are using now.
