PSN EU Easter Sale

What's the maximum PSN wallet size? For some reason I have £125 stuck in my head, which means I'll need to spend a little before I top up with the Paypal offer.

US PSN is USD 150, dunno about EU PSN as I never had more than 50 GBP one time...

I've had some trade-ins recently that I've used for vouchers so it's built up a bit. :)

It doesn't let me top up past £120 so I guess that's the limit. Time to buy something from my watch list I guess. Or I could pre-order Bloodborne...

For all the remasters coming out I would think Ni No Kuni would have a real chance of finding a new audience on PS4, it has had such great word of mouth along with great reviews.
Its art style would translate well to a res bump I think, too.

Still, don't miss out on it just for the off-chance it gets remastered. The price is too good right now. Not necessarily one of the best JRPG's ever, but its got a ton of classic JRPG charm.

Why don't we get a flash sale like our North American brothers and sisters? It looked awesome, bunch of great games for a dollar or less

Is £28.99 good value for the Saints Row IV: Re-Elected & Gat out of Hell combo for someone who has never played a Saint's Row game (but likes open world games).

If you liked Infamous / Prototype chances are that you will be able to enjoy this.

quick question:

Can you download a game to a USB stick and then install it to the internal Harddrive?

I know you can't install games on the thumbdrive, but I thought you might be able to temporarily store the data.

The fact that I need twice the download size in storage space is really limiting my options in this sale.

PS3 I assume? I'm pretty sure you can't get around that problem. :(

They already gave away the PS4 version on plus and the PS3 version as an option after the hack, can't see them giving away the same game again on a different platform

How is the Bad Blood DLC for Watch Dawgs?

I'm thinking of getting it, but would like to hear from a few people that don't hate the game ;)

How's Freedom Wars?

I really didn't like it much at all. The premise is cool, the production values are pretty high...but everything related to gameplay is just so...ehhh... for someone who has played quite a few hunting games over the years.

The controls (particularly the aiming and movement) felt really bad, the combat feels synthetic/ there is no "weight" to anything, there is not much content at all (not many big "monsters" aka abductors, the few environments are repeated over and over), the enemy and your teammate Ai is pretty bad (and...if you play solo....your teammate-AI is very important for those "rescue the villagers quests"), the upgrade system was a bit confusing as well.....

I'd just get Monster Hunter Freedom Unite instead, thats a better hunting game (and much cheaper).

Edit: Thinking about it, my complaint about the (kinda) small amount of content goes out the window when you factor in the now reduced price....but the rest stands.

No. You must have the space on the console. It's a shitty system, that fortunately is better on PS4.

Does anyone have an opinion on Rain? Is it worth the £3.59 they want for it?

I'll just get MGS HD Collection otherwise. I've been waiting on a decent sub-£10 price for this for ages, looks like it's finally time to bite.

I've got a question.

The store says the GoW Collection Volume 2 'download requires a minimum of 17GB HDD space.'

Does this mean I will actually need 34GB in order to download and install the game?

Or is the game actually 8.5GB and 17GB is the total amount of space I will need to download and install?

The PSP games' HD remasters are 2 seperate games, so you only need double the size of the game you want to download.

I believe it's the latter. The games in GoW vol.2 are just uprezzed PSP games, after all.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite [PSP] for Vita. Is it worth buying if you've never really played a MH before but liked the idea of it?

These deals don't quite compare to Gravity Rush for under a dollar. Bought LBP, JSR and Lumines and Oddworld; I need a bigger memory card.

Should I get Silent Hill Book of Memories? I understand it's quite mp-oriented.

splinter cell triilogy for $7.55?
I believe thats the cheapest its ever been.

Are the games great? How are they on the ps3?

what about lara croft and the temple of osiris for ps4? Is that a good game?

Guys help! Silent Hill Book of Memories or Freedom Wars?!?

You'll get more out of Freedom Wars if you like your Monster Hunter-esque gameplay and anime stylings. Silent Hill: Book of Memories is barely related to the series at all and really isn't worth it, in my opinion.

Muramasa Rebirth worth getting on Vita when i own the Wii version but haven't played it yet?

I can't speak for the Wii version, but it is a great game. Amazing visuals, great combat, excellent boss battles and shit loads of content. I paid I think about £10 or £12 in a Christmas 2013 sale and thought it was well worth it.

I really didn't like it much at all. The premise is cool, the production values are pretty high...but everything related to gameplay is just so...ehhh... for someone who has played quite a few hunting games over the years.

Thanks for the thoughts. I think I'll pass on Freedom Wars. It doesn't sound like my thing and it's not like I'm hungry for things to play on the Vita.

I just discovered I have 3,34€ on my account, so Ni No Kuni only needs 1,65 from my CC. The problem is that I'd prefer using paypal , but I can only transfer 5€ minimum. Since the past Sony data leak I'm not sure if I want to put my CC info there. Do you know if I remove them after if they're still on their server? I suppose yes

Question about Mass effect again: Does anyone know if Mass Effect Trilogy (PS3) is one huge file or do I download each game individually?

Because I could probably make room enough for one, maybe even two.

Just added £50 to my wallet as part of the PayPal offer. I think tonight I'll be getting Tomb Raider: DE and Peggle 2 complete. For some reason I can't log into the SEN website right now.

I'd wait. It's amazing how much impact the 60fps has on the game.

Ooh, I'll probably be getting that too. Under £6 is the kind of price I'm happy with for a 2 hour paid demo like this.

So I'm looking at:

MGSV: Ground Zeroes - £5.79
Tomb Raider: DE - £9.49
Peggle 2: MME - £4.99
= £20.27 total
- 20% = £16.22 (technically) for those three games. Not bad. Just a shame it has to be on Bloodborne day.

Does anyone have an opinion on Rain? Is it worth the £3.59 they want for it?

If you like the Team ICO games or general low-key artsy stuff, then I wholly recommend it. It doesn't quite deliver like it should storywise and it is very simplistic in the way it plays, but visually, atmospherically and especially musically, I found it to be utterly riveting. You might not agree, but for that price you can't really go wrong.

Hmmm...tempted to try Ground Zeroes having not played an MGS game before to see if I'll like V, but it feels so likely that it'll go on plus before September. I guess I wouldn't miss a fiver though.

I just got a vita, looking online and saw the ratchet and clank collection was £8.99 in a PSN sale about a month ago. I would've jumped on that instantly if it was in this Easter sale.

I don't think I will get anything right now, main things I want are Drive Club season pass and Watch Dogs season pass and will wait until they are heavily discounted.

Strange

I can't sign into the PSN Store on my computer. It logs me in then kicks me right back out saying sign in failed.

Login works fine with PS3, PS4 and Vita, though.

Anyone else having this issue?
