God those two wolves on the bridge are infuriating, they just make getting everywhere a pain in the arse as I attempt to avoid them!
If you plan on fighting them, throw a pebble to pull one towards you and fight it 1v1.

There are some exclusive items and sets, it's the only place to consistently get blood gems and you can get weapon variants. What's the benefit of doing a Chalice Dungeon? Do I get guaranteed gear?
Comparing a late game DLC to a whole game isn't exactly fairThe DLC in DS2 was hands down harder than everything I've seen so far. I haven't died to mobs once. Only have died a handful of times to bosses.
Dark Souls enemies were a breeze too, I think we just have selective memory. I used to do soul runs on the hardest enemies in Anor Lando in DS1, when at first those same enemies were daunting. Once you learn the regular enemy patterns, it becomes trivial. the bosses were always the hardest part for me.My own thought on difficulty so far is that BB, once you get used to it, is easier on typical enemies because the player character is so fast and powerful + regain is really (intentionally) abusable. It gets hilarious when you start charging bullets whenever you like with health, then whack a nearby enemy to get the health right back.
The bosses though can represent a brick wall because they are really aggressive to compensate for BB's system. No tanking means the player cannot afford to freeze up and block out of blind panic. Combined with the combination attack patterns many bosses have, it means losing control even for a moment will get you wiped in moments at any part of the fight.
If you know what you're doing it feels easy but depending on prior Souls playstyle it can be rough.

Another version of same weapon with different gem slots, not sure if there are any differences beyond thatwhat's a weapon variant?
Btw does the game have multiple endings? 'cause mine was like this:
I mean, it's not like it matters lol, we have damn articles complaining about the difficulty so some of us should probably have gotten gud by nowI'm not saying the games not hard or its bad guys! I think its the best yet so far. It's certainly challenging.
I guess its that timeless souls argument when you've played some before you know how to approach it already.
So uh, the old man in the Hunter's Dream is gone. Did I mess up?
I don't recall swinging a weapon near him. I'm early on, just beaten the first boss, but he was gone even a bit before that. Normal?
Is there a gun that does as much damage as the one those enemies use?
So cheap..
lol what? no. It's still more difficult than 90% of games on Ps360, and every RPG that doesn't have "souls" in the title.
So apparently i "beat the game"???(the credits rolled).Just checked my trophies and i saw that i'm still missing a few bosses,so i guess they are either optional or what.
Btw does the game have multiple endings? 'cause mine was like this:
Warning: ENDING SPOILER
After i beat Mergo's Wet Nurse,i transported back to hunter's dream, refused to Gehrman's offer, fought him as the final boss AND BOOM! An unknown creature (secret boss?) came and grabbed me.Afterwards i see my character as the replacement guardian of Hunter's Dream on my MOTHER FUCKING wheelchair like A BOSS!(I just think it was lame)
So those of you who have finished it.These questions are ALL TROPHY-RELATED.
How do i enter C?ainhurst
Where is The C?hoir
What about The S?ource of the Dream
And now the missing bosses:
YMharnam, Pthumerian Queen ?( Isuspect it's the lady before Mergo's Wet Nurse,i didn't kill her)Cartyr LogariusEelestial Emissarybrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos
If anyone who has finished the game, has found any of those,i would be really appreciated if you helped me.![]()

I just don't really agree with this game being easy compared to the others. Boss wise this is the hardest game so far, IMO
What causes the day/night (well orange or blue sky) cycle? Just time passing or game progression?
Cainhurst, go to Iosefka's upstairs - to get there you need to go to Forbidden Forest and hug left near the town and take that path. Go through the cave, find another cave past the poison water, take the ladder up. Get the Cainhurst summons inside the Clinic. Logarius is in Cainhurst.
Choir, you need to unlock Upper Cathedral Ward (take the elevator up right side of Ward lantern, and all the way there's the door there that unlocks if you have the key - I don't remember where you get it from. There are two of the optional bosses there that you are missing.
Source of the Dream, you need to take the elevator again at Cathedral Ward, except go to the side and drop down, then theres a sort of a pit like area - theres a closed door on one of the platforms, you need to reach there. You can find the Source of the Dream inside.
The queen is the last boss of the final Ptheruium Chalice.

Can anyone help? I've got the "Game Install Incomplete. Cannot load save data" bug. Anyone have any ideas?
Okay, I hit 4 dead-ends after the second boss.
A closed door in old yarnam, a boss I can't beat, a forest full of gun wielding guys, and a area with motherfucking though enemies..
It's a version of a weapon with different imprints for blood gem fusion. I think the normal Cane is Radial/Radial/Triangle, a variant version will be called Uncanny Threaded Cane and the imprints will be something like Radial/Radial/CrescentFinally got the gun!
what's a weapon variant?
I did three bosses in the chalice dungeon and never got anything like that.
The Trio are starting to piss me off. Their long range sword attacks are unfair as fuck, and do HEAVY damage.
Did you get both of the shortcuts opened?
Do you use the axe?
I did a lot of hit and run. It seemed like as long as I was on the move the attack wouldn't connect, that shockwave was the only scary part. Kinda similar to the spider boss.

This is what my friend did. Worked for me too. I think this is what you're talking about.
The pistol scales superbly with Bloodtinge, right now mine is doing 150 of damage a shot.Is there a gun that does as much damage as the one those enemies use?
So cheap..
I don't know that I like the new summon system.
I couldn't find anyone beforeand I doubt just no one was there. I was on Worldwide with no password, obviously.the Blood-Starved Beast
I'd rather have summon signs back because then I know when something isn't working.
You're supposed to die to it so you can get your weaponsSo I can't make it out of the first room. That wolf thing keeps killing me. I can't equip my weapons, and I can't even tel if I'm doing any damage. Pretty frustrating, but I'm determined to keep playing (obviously, $60 to fail in the first room is not an option).
If you did the sewers you probably have one of those Madman's knowledge, you can use these to get insight, anyway if you go back to the area where the hunchback is knocking on the door there is a hidden shortcut behind some crates. You'll know you found it when you can hear/see dogs in cages, I also believe there is a house with a lot of laughter near.
Edit: Guess I'm too late..
I'm sitting at the door of the BSloodBtarvedwith my bell ringing, level 23. Can anyone come help me?? (Global, no password)east
Can't afford to let this insight go to waste ;_;
