She goes down that ladder that brings you the cathedral eventually when you progress through the story far enough. I don't remember exactly when but it's probably after the last boss in the nightmare area.

If you're using the new Suspend/Resume and not closing Bloodborne, you sometimes won't reconnect to the servers. So if you or your friend falls under this category, you'll just sit there waiting to connect to them forever. Just close Bloodborne and reopen it and it fixes the problem. I've found this out the hard way by waiting 20 minutes to connect to a friend before checking around and finding an answer on Reddit.

Depending on when you killed her it could be a screw up in a way. She drops 2 different items at two different times.

Last new things I noticed is the Wmobs are now spawning in the Frontier area and the Hunter in the Titches(killed him)omb of Odeon
so.... no one reached that place or what ? Any good walkthrough guide ? ive been stuck for more than an hour now. I really feel like Ive explored everything.

Yeah one time it took 4 or 5 minutes but most of the time we get summoned within a minute. Has never failed to summon

So I beat Vicar Amelia and now
Father Gascoigne is back??? What?? The lantern there isn't functioning so I went back and he's in that same room again attacking me
Does anyone else have a problem with the amount of damage they are doing vs bosses or am I just super underleveled. Example I'm fighting Amelia at around level 25 with a threaded cane at level 3 and 17 skill, 10 strength, and the lifebar barely moves. The way I beat BSB involved stunning him twice, then using Fire paper to do large amounts of damage. I don't want to have to use Fire paper at every boss though, should I just reroll and go full strength build with a different weapon?
I normally liked in the old games being rewarded later for taking the crappy stats early so later in the game I could get a bad ass weapon, but the threaded cane doesn't really seem that great atm.

I've got a couple items, mainly boss drops, that I can forge gems out of. I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. Is there something else I can do with these items if I don't turn them into blood gems, or is that their only function? I'm reminded of the boss Souls and how it's a waste to cash them in instead of forging weapons with them.

I never found the nun in time, so the whore lived to give birth. But I've heard reports of the nun killing the whore when you take a vial of whore blood instead of a vial of nun blood.

You may be a tad underlevelled as I fought her at lvl 32. But my whip also did nearly nothing. R2 attack with fire paper I found very effective

Reached Tier/Depth 4 level chalices. Enemies didn't get much harder, but blood echoes went WAY UP and new tier of loot. Was worried these chalice dungeons would be crap exp the whole way, but its changing now. Getting 120-200k blood per floor. Got a new weapon type
from a chest as well. The difficulty of the bosses varied tremendously, some of the bosses are a total joke regardless of depth, but plenty are not.

Damn I think I'm lost.
Beat the cleric beast the other night and ended my game. I assumed I would go back to that lantern and open the gate beyond it. Nope. Not looking for exact directions but is the sewers where I want to be next?
Why would you? It sucks. The item description even chides you for thinking about using a shield.
The wheelchair NPC in the Dream tells you where to go after every boss so far.
And the path after BSB is right in plain view if you know what area to look in, which he tells you.

I do that but sometimes they climb all over each other or glitch through the wall and get some hits in. It's just so annoying. What's a good weapon with crazy charge attack range? I can try that.
You'll encounter them soon enough, don't worry.
Apparently, it's effective against a certain shotgun-wielding hunter, but I never tried it myself. Figured it was easier cheesing the guy.
