Shadow of Yharnam
is probably the toughest boss i have faced so far. That moment when i killed the
fireball and katakana
guy, and suddenly a
giant snake
appears. I almost had a heart attack lol

FUCKING SUCK MY DICK YOU SHADOW OF YHARNAM FUCKS! HOWS IT FEEL TO BE DEAD? DOESN'T FEEL SO GOOD DOES IT? YES THEY DESERVED TO DIE, AND I HOPE THEY BURN IN HELL!

I love the subtle progression in Forbidden Woods and how it gets more and more fucked up the deeper you travel into it.

First
snake possessed people, then little snake mobs, then HUGE FUCKING snake mobs and suddenly... weird creepy... alien? creatures?

Man. This game. It's always keeping me on my toes if I ever start to feel just a LITTLE bit confident haha.

Bloodborne's cosmic horror is subtle at first but just you wait, it gets better.

I feel you.

Here's what I did.
I didn't use any vials for the sake of scouting the boss since you can run to them in about 2 minutes from the spawn point. One by one, I tried to see which of those assholes would pose the greatest threat to me after the 2 are killed. By process of elimination I found the biggest problem to me was the katana guy, so I killed him first. Next was the mage because of how retarded his spells become after they transformed. Leaving the flame thrower guy for last being as he moves slow and doesn't have cheap attacks.

Thank you so much, I will try this.

It took me 2 attempts on both
Cleric Beast
and
Father G
. This is not a stealth brag post (especially since there are people who beat them first try), but merely a result of my patience and observation. Not to mention, I made sure to approach these fights with a cool-head the second time around.

Loving this game so far!

any hint to where I can go next? I beat
Amelia, the witch and the blood craved beast
.

Forbidden wood is your next destination. Take the stair down from Amelia boss room, enter the cemetary, through the small passage, and you will see a door that requires password.

The wheelchair NPC in the Dream tells you where to go after every boss so far.

And the path after BSB is right in plain view if you know what area to look in, which he tells you.
If he's there. No where to be found in my game for the last 10+ times I've been to to the HD. I've checked out back too, he's not there.

What are the requirements for joining some chalice dungeons? I just got hit with I don't need the requirements for one that was shared here.

need some direction help.
got to byrgenwerth after killing those three ring wraiths, got the key from the tower (couldn't beat the whip npc). didn't see any other place to go there. do i have to go to the nightmare frontier now?

Asking on a new page because this thread moves so fast:

Is there any reason to keep boss drops that can be make into gems, such as Amelia's locket? Do they have any other uses?

Assume these are final boss spoilers, because I don't know what the fuck just happened.

I was having trouble with the Unseen Village, so I just sprinted through. Ended up running into "The One Reborn". Is that the final boss? He seemed pretty easy, I got him to about 1/2 health before he 1 shotted me.

Final boss spoilers
I'm having so much trouble with Gehrman even though I feel like I shouldn't be. I'm constantly parrying him and getting hit at the same time which keeps fucking me up because I'm wasting vials I shouldn't be. Anyone have advice?

Can anyone enlighten me on chalice dungeons.
I've got what I now need from blood starved beast to create/enter a dungeon. Now is this randomised every time I access it? In regards to accessing others is that basically a case of completing my first one and getting items from it to access another?

Just a bit confused by the whole setup.

Is there a good website or list to check sidequests, impotant items I may have missed (like the Music Box, people, etc)? Sometimes I feel like I miss things, because I go on just fighting enemies for a long while (I just defeated the Blood Starved Beast).

nope.

Just picked up game and played for 2 hours. Amazing atmosphere so far and great combat. Went with the axe and I haven't died yet. I think I'm
at the bridge where the first boss is, but not completely sure
. Proud of myself so far but don't want to get too cocky. Loving the level design so far although I'm getting so freaking lost. I wish there was a map...

P.S. I love the transforming weapons. My starting axe is like a battle axe, partizan and Halberd all put together. I was bummed about hearing lack of weapons but if I can get like 8-10 of these transforming weapons, I'll be satisfied.

Summoning needs to cost insight when it suceeds. Sitting here waiting for help. Terrible system. Names on the floor was far superior to this as at least you knew there were peoole to coop with

Ah, ok. Seemed like final boss material.

I have no idea what to do now. I can't kill any of the enemies past the Yhargul Chapel lamp, and I feel like I've explored almost every area. I've hit a wall.

Make sure your insight isn't too high. It makes the game more difficult I've heard.

I've defeated BSB but I haven't got the option to open/create a CD... Wut.

Not even close, you are a little over halfway done.
