Key you can buy (10000 echoes) is probably for the round cathedral Ward area with the two huge axe giants.
You should get to the boss the boss V C when you start from cathedral ward lamp and head out straigt to the door you see when spawning there. Then the way goes up a huge stair with some enemies and then further up stairs (more enemies) till you get to big doors on top of the stairs. There is Boss V C.

Yeah you definitely missed something. Do you want directions?

Thanks guys, think I'm sorted now. :)

Can I get a specific route for
BSB
? Any time I'm down there, I keep getting murdered by
gatling gun
, and I'm not sure when I go for
BSB
in the area.

When you go down the set of stairs to where the gatling gun starts getting fired, there is a staircase on your right that heads down. Follow that, make your way into the building that the gatling gun dude is occupying and... well, you can figure out the rest.

I picked up the Tonsil Stone, what does it open?

Take a left out of the Grand Cathedral, past a small area with two hunters (one has the electric mace). You'll go down a slope past two executioners to a church with a big bowl in the middle. If you stand near the big locked door, you'll be grabbed by a big scary monster dude. If you've go the Tonsil Stone when this happens, you'll be sent to the Lecture Hall instead of dying.

Hmmm maybe I missed something. I've been all over... I've even unlocked the big gates by coming around behind them. Maybe I just missed where I'm supposed to go.

The big gates in the courtyard with the two big Axe Weilders?
If you went around to the back you should just run up that long staircase...

Man, the final boss in the depth 5 Isz Chalice Dungeon was a pain but I finally killed him. Now I can do root versions of it C:.

I just discovered the creatues in the Forgotten Woods, I'm so scared to face them. The small ones creeped me out but the big ones just....i can't do it. I tried running from one of them and fell into a giant hole filled with them and died.

Someone hold me please...I'm shaking

You need to go down in the area near the machine gun, not via the ladder that will get you killed by bullets and the hunter but the other way around first. Then you'll end up in a spiral staircase and can open the door from the inside.

This means that you can reach BSB from the lamp within 20 seconds by falling onto rooftops straight from the start area and enter that staircase.

I found a guy in a wheelchair. I thought it was the dude from the cutscene at the start so I was all like 'Oh hey Bob!' And he was all like raagghhhrrrrr! FML.

Guys, beat the second boss after multiple tries, and I'm loving the game :D

So far I only leveled up Arcane and Vitality atributes, but idk what Arcane does (It sounded like something for magicians, so I did it. My weapon is the cane.) Can you guys give me tips on how to use the Arcane attribute? Or if I should even be bothering with it lol

Thank you!
vitality and endurance are always useful. I have not level arcane at all and I am near the end of the game. It's for magic items(?) which doesn't appear till late in the game. Personally it's pointless for now atleast. I went with strength, endurance and vitality at first. But the cane rank with skill I believe.
which boss did you kill?

I've done the boss in Cathedral Ward, the weather seems to have changed here now I am back. I found a note which mentions the need for a password, but not sure where that is yet. There is a couple of areas I can explore here still I think. Otherwise, do I need to head toward that wooded area with all the riflemen?

So just found out I've missed at least 2 bosses in the main world (I only did a few Chalice dungeons anyway). I missed out the
Upper Cathedral Ward
. I knew there was a door there that I didn't unlock but forgot about it before I fought the last boss. I need to get a decent way into the game to get there now though. So I can either go through on NG+ or a fresh NG but with the cane.

The first enemies on NG+ are taking a bunch of hits on my 85 character. I do have 99 Insight though, does that make them harder? I had so much insight during NG.

Sorry, read my edit!

Yoshi. We must find out. Unless you already know?

I've been trying to figure out a door that still hasn't opened in my game
and I'm nearly complete. So in the Cathedral ward there's one of those giants with a ball and chain (the only one with a ball and chain I believe) in a circular plateau. Down the stairs there are a ton of urns, and a chest down a passageway. Next to the chest is a door. It has said "closed" the entire game and it's just taunting me. Does it ever open?

DarkBeast Paarl
. The fuck am I supposed to get past that?

Dodge his swipes, run away when he charges up, get under him and attack the shit out of him, he'll put down his head. Visceral his face. Rinse and repeat

Also if you're <level 35 or something and are only there from being killed by the bag man I'd just wait until you go back there later in the game

So about the vilebloods..

Do you get anything for offering the queen blood dregs or should I just have Albert go kill her? I'm not really that into pvp anyway.

What's flawed about it? I've been invading just fine.

I've tried 30 times. Worked twice. The concept is flawed fundementally.

So you ring your sinister bell. Now you only get summoned if another sinister bell is ringing. Now so a coop person rings their bell. Once they get a coop partner, a bell lady spawns and rings her bell. By the time that happens they're already through the fucking boss door. So you don't get summoned at all OR as soon as you do you're sent back cause they're in a boss fight.

I already know :)
Tonsil Stone + jump in the purple ball takes you to the optional dungeon.

edit: shit nevermind, thought we were talking about the other thing!

So some guy presumably with multiple high level rapid poison gems invaded me earlier with the blades of mercy. I was trouncing him and he got a combo off on me. With my armors resistance and the
+100 to all resistances rune
I run the guy barely could hurt me. That's including the base damage of the weapon. After he realized he had no chance he ran into a group of enemies and I killed him along with them. what I'm saying is I don't think it's a great idea. Poisons are kind of meh.

well that's unfortunate for me, it didn't really seem to do anything to regular enemies i tried it on either, but that might be something else

To the right of the Church where you fight Vicar Amelia, go past the two hostile NPCs and find a guy with a burlap sack. Let him kill you.
If you already did that, it's the third tombstone in Hunter's Dream.

Just to be clear: Is that the zone with this two crazy dudes in the houses asking for more blood?
Right?

What's the level most of you guys fought
Vicar Amelia
?

I took her out at 26. I think i might be a little under leveled for this stage of the game.

that sentence makes 0 sense

Obviously newcomers wouldnt know the difference, but I'm sure they'd find the game way harder than the other games

I also don't get why ppl say BB is the easiest of them all.

Sure, ppl who played DeS,DaS,DaS II are going to be more trained in souls games even if the mechanics changed a bit. But i think that people who play BB for the first time have it harder compared to the other games.

Other games have shields where you can hide behind and survive a lot of encounters with doing little offensive action. Can't do this in BB

Other games had magic and bows to cheese 50 % of the enemies from far away. Starting DeS with Royal and the harry potter soul arrow made the game and bosses incredible more easy (Flamelurker is a joke with soul arrow).

Good players played the souls games only two-handed, rolling and doging a lot - no wonder that they breeze through BB, because the mechanics empower exactly this.

Edit: gah, my english is even worse than usual. 01:36 am here and i should go to sleep. This game -_-
