Oh my god. I just got summoned to help beat NG+ Father G ... but the host was in another covenant. So I couldn't attack enemies, and when I did a vicious attack, the host stood in the way and I one-hit-killed him.
Sorry!
But hilarious!
 
Well i'm nowhere near you guys on here but I have CB down on the 2nd try and am going to take FG on next I reckon, i'm really loving it so far and far more than I did DS1 and nearly as much as I loved Demon Souls.

The combat has finally started to click although i've not grasped the weapon change mid combo yet, still something to work on!

I'm using kirkhammer as I loved the giant club in dark souls.

From my small amount of testing both modes do basically same damage (some moves in hammer mode might do a bit more damage / cause more stagger) . The weapon as a whole scales with str so just put points into that and not skl if you want to stick with it.

As with modes you choose between sword for fast attacking plus gun parry or hammer for way better range. Plus L2 with hammer does a horrazontal sweep which is great in group fights.

I think certain attacks with hammer mode will yield more damage but I think that more depends on monsters resists maybe.

Its a great weapon. I'm using hammer mostly as it suits my play style and I finding shooting to parry way to random on if it works or not.

In NG+ her homing projectiles are will lock you into place and allow them to do a visceral attack on you. It will take off 90% of your health. It's no joke.

And you've got them coming at you from two directions. It really changes the whole dynamic of the fight.

Are you ignoring all the spider adds and just trying to attack him? Just dodge the little fuckers, get a few hits in, roll around and get another opening/repeat.

Amelia is in Grand Cathedral. To get to her, you go down below that tower taking another elevator to return to Central Cathedral and open the gate which is initially locked. Then you go upstairs, pass through a giant dude with axe and his followers and enter a big church. Amelia should be there waiting for you :)
 
Just had to kill a very strong
Blood Starved Beast
in chalice dungeon..got hit once at the beginning (just to tease him obviously) then didn't get hit again the whole fight :D felt good man
 
Finished my first run and got the third ending. My god that last boss. Started NG+ and this time I'll focus on side characters as I think I missed a lot last time.

That's not just NG+ that happened to me several times

The locking into place I mean
 
ugh, just had 80k+ blood echoes disappear. looked all over, gone. no enemies, no blood spot. down near the boss of the forbidden forest. beat the bosss though.

Thanks for that. Im still loving the cleaver too much to put it down for long. So fast....

Edit: The holy blade shows a Physical ATK value of 294 which means it should do more damage

I did, I just chickened out at the "gate" because I thought I was going too far without taking previous bosses =]

I didn't use it because I was afraid of running out of paper =| guess I'll have to try!

What the FUCK just happened. I was in the Forbidden Woods and found a guy who gave me something and told me to go somewhere - so I did. And then this phantom hand grabs me and there's death and blood and now suddenly I'm in

Yeah I had that happen a lot in Old Yarnham. From Software could use some technical wizards on their team tbh. Or maybe a better engine.
