I had the timing down on the charge move at first but I lost it lol. It has a huuuge hitbox and tags you if you run or dodge wrong really easy so I just kinda took the L on that. I'm impatient as well so I chose to mainly circle-strafe rather than wait for her AI to do the headslam.

I had a hard time getting into the split tendrils consistently but I did notice it was a good spot. She still has two moves that hit back there so I tried not to use it too much. I never even saw the flying slam and I've fought her a bunch of times. So many moves...

I only saw the flying slam near the end after her powerup stuff, but the moment you have a boss <10% health and see a new move you can just feel your body tense up, lol.

Did you lock on for the fight? I had sooo many issues when I was, especially the charge, I found it made me sidestep right into the side of it and get nailed. Once I stopped that and just did a quick sprint roll I consistently avoided and even managed to punish it.

What?
No.
Balder side sword and claymore ftw.
Estoc next.

Are there even any rapiers in BB?

how many playthroughs?

I have one, I forget where I got it though.
Called Reiterpallasch
.

Those that have finished the game, around what level were you? Just curious kind of where I'm at.

I was like 120 something, but I did (almost) every single optional thing in the game and killed a ton of shit and always had +Echo runes on. Only missed the 15% Stamina rune because I accidently attacked a guy and the +30% Echoes rune because I forgot to go grab it.

Looks like i'm stuck. Help me !
I've beaten:

Cleric beast
Father Gascoigne
Blood-Starved beast
DarkBeast Paarl.

Dont know where to go now...

Go back to Cathedral Ward and the door on the right of the lamp is open now. It's an elevator that takes you up. Explore over there.

Ugh, I want to buy it but have myself going skill right now. I'm at about 19 skill and only 10 strength. Probably not worth it for me :'(

Might still be worth it.
Though you'd have to ask someone who understands stats better.

I've been using it for a long time and once I reached 25 in STR the level up menu started saying that I would get a bigger increase in damage by leveling up Skill (which I had at like 12 at the time). So I started investing some points into skill

Platinum the game.
Easiest platinum game ever.
I could've gotten it within 30-35hrs.

Couldn't have been easier then infamous or the order

I picked that up in a chest in
Cainhurst. Joining their covenant also unlocks it for sale I think.

So whats the deal with that...I did the same but then I climbed back down the ladder and his buddy started attacking me and then he starts shouting about how I deceived him. smh.

That's weird.
I know if you attack the monsters in that area after, he goes back to hostile. I wonder if that hunter would have triggered it for me if I hadn't killed Djura right away.

So, I'm sort of grasping the story thus far, it's quite interesting. I don't get why the enemies say,
"it's all your fault." What's all my fault? What did our character do?
they didn't accidentally throw that in there, it's for sure deliberate.

I Spoiler tagged as a precaution, not necessarily a spoiler, imo.

Regarding Eileen... I haven't seen her at all since the first time meeting her in Central Yharnam. I just killed
Rom
. No sign of her in the Chapel... did I mess something up?

What?
No.

Yes. It's a rapier/gun. It's in Cainhurst.

I did it unlocked. Camera in this game fucks up way too much against bosses like this. It helps a lot being able to run in any direction in that fight.

Yes, there is one Rapier in Bloodborne - the Reiterpallasch. It's from a chest in
Cainhurst
. It's one of only 2 weapons with an A rank in Skill scaling. The other is the Threaded Cane (and the Blade of Mercy has an S rank).

I've gotten so close to killing BSB like 3 times now. I almost one shotted it the first encounter. The flamesprayer seems to be useless, I think I'm just going to shotgun and slash and dance around the pillars, wish me luck.

Already did that part.

YOu missed some stuff...lots of stuff actually, I did also...at first.

Just make sure you dodge through the attacks and stay aggressive. use the pungent blood bombs if you have to.

Rom is shit tier lazy boss design. I think I've died just due to mind numbing boredom than anything he did. This is the exact type of a fight that doesn't belong in this game.

No way man.
Infamous and The Order are a grind.
You must be crazy to platinum The Order though...Holy shit, who has time to look at picture and finding them? Even though I have 80% in The Order, I am not replaying it to find pictures =/.

Bloodborne is all natural though.

One shotted?
Like "killed with one single attack"?

What?
No.

Nahhh Holy Blade FTW.
I love the fact it's both a small and pretty quick sword and also a greatsword with good damage, a wide attack and decent knockback

It's just really versatile and looks great

That flamethrower is a joke. Pillars are your friend for him.

I think they're just crazy
and have been driven mad by the various events.
I don't think there's any real meaning beyond that.

also I went back up after his pal attacked me and he just stood there. Didn't try to attack me and I couldn't talk to him. Maybe a glitch or something....

No.

No way, I prefer Ludwig above any of those weapons and I'm a hardcore dex kind of guy. The moveset is an absolute beast. It covers all the angles, hits like a truck, scales really good, staggers enemies left and right and the combos it has work wonders on bosses. Especially against super mobile ones.

It's funny that this game is supposed to have faster combat than Dark Souls, but all I use is the two-handed axe's R2 charge attack. I rarely use it's R1.

Curious of something...is the legendary MoonLight Sword found in this game? It was in Demon's Souls and would be a nice easter egg for long King's Field fans.

And I beat the
Blood starving beast
today...took me like 10 tries but I did it!! Took my time real smooth and patient.

I think I might have hit some possible glitch with the Crow woman.

She doesn't show up at Oeden Tomb and I cannot fast travel there. She's no where to be found.

Ahh, I thought it had something to do with the hunters, but it makes sense that they'd spout nonsensical crap.

Lol, this was almost my exact complaint. Not to
Mention they completely ripped off the idea from DkS1. At least, in the sense that
you jump down into water to reach rom, much like the 4 kings.

ENDING SPOILERS
Moon Presence is kicking my ass.

And so ends the Gaf bitching circle: Post about how hard something is on Gaf > beat it next try.

Hmm, before I finish this playthrough, I need to go find the remaining runes I'm missing.

Some of the Deep Sea ones, and the 30% Moon. This won't be fun >.>
