dear lord I suck at this fucking game. Ive been stuck at the two werewolf things on the bridge before the first boss for HOURS. I need molotovs, but every time I try to go gather enough munnies to buy some I just get killed by something else. It has been a loop of this for like 5 hours in a row now.

Okay so I killed an NPC by mistake..Long story short I was speed running back to a gate and I saw someone standing there and I was like I'm gonna kill this one..Yeah. Anyways he dropped this weapon to be purchased

It's a wheel that hits pretty darn hard and if you press L2 it spins and if you keep spinning it it'll start taking your health down but add more attack to your hits and you have to close it to stop it from killing you.

Yah like I said, he's tougher when you first get there. I was in the same boat and just kept trying until I finally got super lucky.

I went back today and wrecked him. He's not bad at all. Was expecting far worse, especially with the enemy difficulty around there.

Hunter covenant is the only one that matters and I'm not even talking about story here. All you need to know is that Eileen is super important in your playthrough (for her items) whereas the others are a waste of time.

if you keep exploring there's a shortcut+stairs that goes behind the werewolves so you don't have to deal with them. That's how I got around them when i fought the first boss

I don't know what it is but it sounds cool. I was mad so I tried running away and going back. I even used a bold hunters mark but everytime I went back he attacked me so I had no choice but to end him .

what's the highest phys attack rune?

I assume you mean Blood Gem?

The highest Physical ATK Blood Gem without a penalty is +18% in the main game. There's also a +19% one, but you use -7hp per tick with it.

The highest just ATK gem, which affects both Physical and Arcane type damage is +15%.

Though I do believe there's higher quality and better ones in Chalice dungeons.

Chalice dungeons are probably the best places to farm echoes lol. I don't know what to do with mine since I want to keep at a certain level for PVP purposes. I guess I can just dump them into consumables.

I find the chalice dungeons only good for getting consumables, gems, and runes. I get very little echoes by clearing out a dungeon level...maybe about 5k or so. I don't know if its because I haven't unlocked the better chalices or not.(I only have 4)

Both of the opposing covenants are essentially completely removed from everything. It's really annoying, which made me not enjoy the area they're in as much as other people seem too.

The whole game world is perfectly and astonishingly interconnected except this one place. It sucks, it's like a DLC zone lol

Sometimes you gotta realize that you can run past obstacles like those! Get past them and into a nearby house to the left--they cant follow you in there. A regular enemy is standing right in front of the entrance.

It happened to me as well. Don't give up. Change your tactic, explore the world and find other paths. It is a training for what is coming! Brutal, marvelous game.

yeah i got a +21.8% atk up gem from the dungeons. was wondering how much higher they go.

in the area with the Ogre bashing on the door and the crows on the other side, if you're facing the crows, go left and look for breakable objects and jump down to reveal a new path. Explore that way if you're having trouble with the werewolves.

If you dodge towards him right after he shoots the homing missiles they won't hit you.

If you go to the void where the big brain drops (after you pull the level), if you stand in front of the brain and use the "Make Contact" gesture and leave it for a little bit, you'll receive a rune. It's just a higher tier Moon rune, but it's still a REALLY well hidden secret.

This makes me think:

This gesture is really weird, because you kinda just get it, but it doesnt seem to be appliable in any actual communication scenario.

You saying this makes me think its actually a key to trigger hidden stuff.
