Cool, thanks. The atmosphere is dope in there. Now is fine. The area is deceptive in its difficulty by putting the hardest fight right at the start.

I know you only get the Burial Blade if you refuse and beat Gherman. My question is can you get it if you go after the true ending and beat both Gherman and the secret boss?
Keep playing. For now go the other way. You'll figure it out.
huh, that's where I spawned in for the first time when I entered through the door in. how did you spawn outside of it?Lecture Room Second Floor
Anyone know if you put a Fire gem into a Tonitrus, does that take away its bolt damage?
I'm level 53 and I just took out boss SoY in the woods. I decided I want to explore an optional area. Which optional area would be most appropriate for my level?

I don't believe so, it just doesn't seem to have any elemental (fire) effect at all.
Yes. You can actually get it between the two.Spoilers obviously

I'm done with this place. I'm in front of the final boss trigger. I'm just wondering what I missed
You spawn from here ? And you walk up to the first lantern ? Okay, that why it's here then. I forgot. I though you spawn right at the lantern.
I kind've wish i didnt 1 shot the last boss now...Yes. You can actually get it between the two.
I'm new. I can't beat the two beast dog things on top of the bridge in the first area (after you beat the beast knocking on the door). Any help? Can I bye pass them? I'm not even close.
Finally got to the Celtic Boss after just passing those two werewolves but ran out of time last night to beat him. Thankfully I unlocked that other gate next to the first lamp.

If you have oil and molotove use them...it helps A LOT. Also, try not to get stuck while dodging. That fight has the worst camera angles ever. That is the only thing that killed me when against the.Cleric Beast
Turn off automatic wall avoidance, it really helps! That is what I saw when watching a walk through it was bad at times.
Ending spoilers:
The fight against Gehrman was incredible. The words beforehand, the setting, and the music all set a very impressive tone for the fight. I'm sure it was snoozeville if you're a baller who can parry his attacks constantly, but it felt like a proper fight to the death and it was a lot of fun. I think I like it more than the fight against False King, it is probably my favorite fight to play out of these games. Just two hunters in a field of flowers duking it out, really great stuff.
Moon Presence was a bit easier, but it was cool looking at least. I just walked behind it and hacked away. It wasn't a particularly challenging fight.

Currently about mid game on my ng+ decided to carry about 90 insight, want to see what the game brings at me. I am ready! So i think lol.

Nah, that's pretty much it. Everything is best at something. Hunter sets are some of the best physical defense ones, surpassed only by stuff like the other Hunter clothes. The gear is so disappointing in this game. It looks great, but none of the ~8 sets I've picked up are as good as the damn Hunter stuff from the beginning. I've swapped out for resistance bonus here and there, but that's it.
Does this change at some point? I'm at Yahar'gul, Unseen Village, after Rom.
Yeah. If youdie against Moon Presence you can even buy Burial Blade and use it against it if you want. You just need Gehrman's badge and he'll drop it after he dies.
Yep!
Yes. You can actually get it between the two.
Yes and you can keep it in the Regular game ifyou go After the true ending and then beat Gherman and die to the secret boss afterwards.
Thanks guys!Yup
Also, give Miyazaki some credit. It only took three games, but he finally realized that nobody wants to go through a lot of shit before they fight the final boss.
Small details I just love:
- Pushing doors open
- Fog gates

they are easy kills, just keep your distance, they move slow and have a reach attack. though if you keep exploring down there you will come to aIn the sewers/aqueducts there is a section where a dead body is surrounded by loads of enemies in the water. They are seemingly inactive. What do you get from that body, and are the enemies there hard to kill?
I hope that's what the new 1.02 is, since it doesn't seem to have changed loading.Played for four hours yesterday with my brother, yelling at him over the microphone as our asses kept getting owned and electrocuted by that piece of shit DBP. Was especially surprised getting invaded in Hemwick as we were making our way toward the boss.
Sucks that folks went an entire game without being invaded, perhaps they'll patch in something to make it happen more often?
The gear is so disappointing in this game.
So what actually happens when you get invaded? What is the benefit to the other player?
Nah, that's pretty much it. Everything is best at something. Hunter sets are some of the best physical defense ones, surpassed only by stuff like the other Hunter clothes.
I used Black/White church the most, since they have a good mix of physical, Arcane, and poison resistance.
there's a lot of gear you haven't found. some are in optional areas and some are obtained from certain NPCs.
Does not compute
They don't lose anything, get a tiny bit of souls and insight, and know they annoyed you.So what actually happens when you get invaded? What is the benefit to the other player?
Blood Echos and maybe Insight, I guess?

Yes.You get the Rune Workshop Tool that allows you to use Runes in the altar in the hunters dream
On a side note, TOheRneis really handing me my ass, hardest boss so far.eborn
It's mostly sidegrades, rather than upgrades. While I appreciate it, a clear upgrade would be nice at some point. I guess it would render all previous gear useless though.
