Made short work of
Martyr Logarius
Blunderbuss +
Tonitrus
made it easy. Started trying to use Ludwig's but it wasn't appropriate for that fight I think.

Wow, fuck whichever guide I followed that said to "keep your distance" against cleric beast. Literally walk (don't dodge) around him and go ham on his backside. Made the fight piss easy.

What a waste of 2 hours.

Why are you mad at something you were following? You must be deeply mad at yourself, too.

New Game+ feels fucking weird. Not to mention I never made a +10 Cane, so I'm pretty much stuck with +9 until I get to where I can get the last part again.

Everything having SO much more health is just odd. The jump feels way bigger than DaS NG+. It's quite literally just to elongate any 1v1 fights. I'm dreading getting to V

Yeah, I found that to work well too. My Dark Souls tendencies were still in play and getting at his heals and slashing away worked wonders.

Just beat the final boss
one on one fights against human enemies are my favorite fights in video games
and it was fucking intense!

Dang I atleast upgraded to +10, but it hasn't been super difficult so far. Its tougher than New Game for sure, but it doesn't feel too crazy. The boss of Forbidden Woods was amazing epic with the increased hp and difficulty.

I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the dedication level of people buying this game. Of persons who have synced trophies to PSN, we're currently at 70.5% having beaten Cleric Beast. That's actually a very impressive amount of effort for what the first trophy is.

Even the (relatively) deep Vi
car Amerlia
is 38.2%. For more passive players that's easily 15 hours in especially if exploring all side areas and it's certainly not a throw-away fight.

People weren't kidding about the difficulty spike with the Chalice Dungeons haha. Last stretch before I get the Platinum trophy and start NG++.

I got the final boss to 30% on my first real try...had I not started the fight with 0 bullets I probably would have killed him, lol. Not sure how I depleted my bullet supply...

Big E is still the hardest boss in the game, IMO. What a fucker, glad I did it solo. I bitched out on one attempt and summoned someone, but he died 5 seconds in. >.>

I'm happy with myself that I killed a good amount of bosses first try and this is my first souls game ever played in seriousness.

Ameila, Witch, Flesh thing, Amygdala, Nurse
maybe like 1 more but can't remember.

Can't wait to start the real grind tomorrow.

If I do this thing
(SML to Gehrman)
under the tree does that prevent me from doing anything that could hurt me before NG+? Do I need to go look around more first?

What the hell is up with the slowdown when fighting the 3
Hunters in Hypogean Gaol? The game runs at, like, half speed, making the battle much harder. My guess is that the Hunter AI is more complex and less optimized, causing some serious slowdown issues...

oh man, im level 48 and i am not ready for that electric boss in the unseen village, haha

1) where is the item that lets me attach runes?

2) where is the vicar in the cathedral? ive the 10k key thing, no idea where he's at though...

Have you opened that gate with the 10k key? That's up the stairs in cathedral ward. Basically you need to go up thre for both your questions, the vicar is in the cathedral right at the top of the big staircase, and the item for runes is through a cave - come out of the cathedral, down one flight of stairs and turn right.

How are you level 48 and still haven't done the vicar? Didn't think you'd be able to level up that much just grinding in he earlier section?

Blunderbusses definitely have a delay when firing them, which makes them worse for parrying. Their only use as far as I can tell is stopping a group of enemies in front of you.
Wait, you mean blunderbusses don't have a higher chance at parrying? I've been using it this whole time.

Vicar's down! no idea where to go next so uh im doing the chalice dungeon inna meantime, appreciate any pointers in the right direction though

i wandered around the unseen village a lot...you can level like 3x on a good run there, it's just a bit dangerous, haha

I think it would depend on how close to the enemy you are. When I'm up close the Blunderbuss is very reliable but it would be useless even a few steps back. That's just my experience though.

what's the that wiki site link please?

there are three but this is always the best in these games http://bloodborne.wiki.fextralife.com/Bloodborne+Wiki

I'm worried about some of the bosses having a lot more health lol.

you do a lot more damage than you did last time you faced them, so fights in ng+ will be almost like your first encounter again. It's not like you have to chip their health down over 10 minutes or something

I have never even bothered looking, but are there any breakable walls?

haven't heard of any yet so I don't think there are

Alright, killed two of them, so things are better now. This is honestly the first time I've been legitimately frustrated at the game.

I have a question regarding the rescue NPC sidequests -
So I read now that the trigger for Adella killing Arianna is jealousy from taking Arianna's blood more than her's. So does that mean it's fine if I just take each of their blood once the first time and never again? Or is it safer to never accept either one of them?

Experts what do I do in
CATHEDRAL WARD? There're so many options!!! I heard to girst to OLD YHARNAM and kill beast there then to HEALING CHURCH...then to HEMWICK LANE and at last to AMELIA? is that right? I don't want to miss anything and i want EILEN side quests too?

There is one, yeah. It's in an optional area and required to break in order to progress to the
Ebrietas
boss so I don't think it really counts.

There is a breakable window which leads to a new area. Dont know if that fits in the "wall" territory though.

So far.
It looks like it's in chalice dungeons only.

haven't heard of any yet so I don't think there are

Ok, interesting. Previous Souls games had several breakable walls for hidden treasure. Seems like it isn't as much of a thing.

I'm at Yaa Gurlllll and it's rainin' snakes. Where do I go from here, GAF?

Pop over to HL for an easy boss fight.
