So I was thinking about something

When Patches shows up he replaces anyone you talk to and I always first meet him in the villag ein the forbidden woods. It seems like there's an npc there but I don't think I've ever talked to the guy, just patches. Does he have anything to say or do?

At the moment Im stuck on 2 bosses ..Rom and Amygdala. Currently level 51...is that to low?

Im spending way to many bloodvials so that makes farming a must. :(

Hey what's the deal with the
spider with a human head in the lecture area? I talked to him, but never encountered him after that, did I miss anything with him?

When I talked to him, I was able to get 3 different dialogues with him including a yes/no question. In the end, I got a rune from him. Then he disappeared from my game.

He goes off to another area and you can find him again after you kill certain bosses.

he is also in the nightmare plain hiding behind a cliff.

His name is patches, he's kinda reference to demon souls.

Wrong, you meet the real
Patches
in Nightmare Frontier where we throws you into the poison river. They look alike though so maybe they're buddies or in some sort of spider covenant.

I think I'm done with Bloodborne. Played almost 100 hours and 2 trophies away from my first platinum (I don't really care about trophies). Amazing game and I definitely hope there's DLC.

It's all the same character, he makes 4 appearances.

What does Fetis Offering do in a chalice dungeon? why is optional?

Fetid offerings gives a damage buff to the enemies, and rotted offerings increases the frequency of traps in the dungeon. Both offerings give better chances of enemies dropping good loot.

ya your a little low. I usually do rom at like 60-70. I think the best farming area for 50-60 is the 1st floor of the lecture hall. With the moon rune I think you get around 18-20k per run the loading time into the lecture hall are less than 10 seconds so you should be able to go from 51 to 60 in like 30 minutes of farming.

Is it worth it to use them on Pthumerian dungeons? or i should save them for the most difficult ones?

Sage's wrist are consumable items? or i can use them everytime i want?
You want to make a dungeon with as many modifiers as possible then keep running that one Dungeon over and over again for the enemy kills. As long as you don't remove the Chalice you can keep farming it.

Or you can use other people's created Chalices and farm those.

Just remember that once you have created a Chalice you should never create it again... it's a waste of materials.

Easy mode Blood Echoes farming route on NG+ is starting from Witch's Abode lampost you just go straight and killed 3 witches and 3 executioners then teleport back. The real meat of the run are the Executioners that you have to parry for the extra blood Echoes. Equip the extra Blood Echoes plus the one that gives you more echoes on Viscerals. You get like 30K per Executioner kill netting you over 100K Blood Echoes for killing like 6 enemies. You can kill the dogs on the side too if you want.

Yup, ran that a decent amount.

Also not sure if it was just me but I also took on those dogs each time and they are glitchy as FUCK. Like, straight up teleporting and disappearing all over the place.

I sit on his back leg (the longer ones) sit out from out of their range them at a 45 degree angle and prepare to roll when you see red flashes above your head. Also it helps ALOT to clear the 6 fireball throwers before messing with the One Reborn.

What are the other 2?

Copied from the wiki:

Patches can be first discovered after defeating Vicar Amelia and having entered the Forbidden Woods at least once. He will replace the regular inhabitant of any of the red-lantern windows in the Frontier or Yharnam. The quickest method to meet him is to simply use the Central Yharnam lampstand and speak at the window several paces away. Meeting him will prompt him to offer you the Tonsil stone, which unlocks the Lecture Hall, 1F if the Hunter allows themselves to be grabbed by the Lesser Amygdala above the door to Yahar'gul, the Unseen Village. Speaking to Patches again will get him to repeat his suggestion that you go to the right of the Grand Cathedral to discover something grand. Note that after the player zones out of wherever they spoke to Patches, he will be gone and the regular inhabitant of the red-lantern window will return.

This character can then be found at Lecture Hall (1st floor) where you may talk to him through the door immediately outside the room with the lamp.

Then, in the Nightmare Frontier, Patches will set a trap by dropping coins and a glowing treasure above a poison pit. Approaching this will trigger a cutscene where a POV Patches will watch the Hunter from some grass, then scurry out and push them into the pit, laughing. (You can spot him on the rock wall above the item, and if you throw an object like a pebble at him he we fall to his death where only Great One's Wisdom will be dropped.)

Finally, you may have a face to face encounter with him in Lecture Building (1F). To find him, you must access from a ladder on the second floor, kill the giant with flaming hands and go down the ladder, he will we blocking the door of this room.

Firstly, kill all the bell witches above. You go to them through towers in corners.
Then stick to TOR's side and keep attacking. Just be wary of his feet and possible arcane attacks. Be patient.

spawn at forbidden woods, have higher moon and higher visceral atk runes on, you can put more exp runes on but I like my 15% stam. Kill every enemy with parry when possible (you won't get them all but that's fine) expect the dead niggas in the water, I run past these guys, I don't bother killing them. Do this up until you get to the cannon and when u get there, kill the cannon guy first, if there's too many heads at one point, just kill them regularly, u still get a lot of echoes per kill. Bold hunter mark back, repeat. Takes like 4 min as long as you aren't getting bopped.

My spot right here!! yeah super quick and easy... sometimes ill switch it up and run all the way through the
snake area too and kill the 2 piggies
.

So, I'm declaring here and now Black Church Set is the best armor in the game, overall. Tomb Prospector is up there as well. All the really good looking armor is pretty terrible.
Bone Ash, Yara'Gul, Cainhurst
Oh well :(

First kill all the witches, then just hit and run and hide between staircases, sometimes you should be on the staircase cuz he vomits shit on the main floor, but try to be walking all the time cuz he cast shit on you. and thats it.

OK, but i can farm those modifiers too? or buy some somewhere?

Does he do more damage when I take out the bell maidens, or am I imagining things? I get staggered by a kick and then killed by the raining body parts, but he seemed less aggressive beforehand...

Man, this fight is almost more annoying than E
brietas
.

He does. Killing maidens causes him to do a stronger attack where his head glows red.
But not killing maidens makes the fight more difficult, at least for me.
Do as you wish. :)

Ok guys I need some guidance, I killed
BSB, they send me to ascend Oedon chapel, well I did, the door at the top is closed but anyway then I went all the way down and into the hunter's dreame reality, I dont know how to call it. After that I had no idea where to go, so I went to the woods clean all that, and kill the invisible bosses and got the tool I was missing
but know I have no idea where to go. Plz just put the to the right path. Thanks.

So I just beat The O
ne Reborn
on my first try but it felt way too easy. I'm level 68 with evenly distributed stats, runes that increase HP, stamina and blood vials and a +8 Saw Cleaver with 3 physical attack up bloodgems. I used bolt paper and just kept attacking and he went down pretty quick. I don't know. Something felt kind of off about it.

I beat
Martyr Logarius
last night, one of my favorite fights so far. In one of the tries I only had to hit him one more time, but I chocked because of the tension and he got me. Same thing happened with Rom, choked on the final hit like 2 times.

Also defeated
One Reborn and Amygdala
, both dead on first try, very easy.
Rom
is the only real asshole in this game so far

Castle Cainhurst
is one of the best areas in the game. It's pretty easy and straightforward, but fun to play through and very atmospheric. One of the best looking areas as well.

Every time I see those hirsute hunter mobs, I somehow think of this:

In these cases, I just start shooting like mad and hope the damage is enough.

How do you beat the npc guy in
nightmare mensis, after the spider room
?

my fights last 3 seconds. Does he drop anything good or should I just not bother, I opened the shortcut in the next room

I don't think so.

Stay out of range of the kick, learn his patterns he has several points when he is not kicking (like when he is puking) run in get a R2/R1 combo in and double roll back to where you were. He staggers occasionally, run in, and get 1 charged R2 in then back out. When you get greedy you get stunned by a kick then KO'd by shit from the sky.

Hey GAF, was able to record and upload my first attempt against
Logarius
- used the 1H Ludwig's Holy Blade with some Bolt Paper.

Video:

http://youtu.be/8QB6378y2Dg

Best boss fight in the game thus far for me.

Nice job. Until I watched this video I had no idea that you could use a visceral attack that long after you stunned an enemy. I always thought it was RIGHT AWAY or not at all.

I beat him on the first try too, but I was level 100, so it was a tad easier than it should've been.

100 hours? How many hours have you played at day? That's 20 days with 5 hours daily?

After elevator, approach him stealthy from the back and do a visceral attack. If he survives that, kill him quickly. It's not that difficult, just remember to dodge and use gun.

I just beat this fucker on NG++ at level 147 and my GOD what a bitch this guy is. Holy mother of sweet baby Jesus himself.

I'm just at the beginning of the game, I'm met the first boss but not killed him yet.
I noticed some blood spectres beside the doll in the 'safe' area where I upgrade weapons and stuff.
I guess it's not safe for the whole game! Game spoiling itself :)
