He's got a trick. Use numbing mist to stop him from healing. He will do power ups that drain his health and that is when you go in for hits. LEad him to the stairs and he stays tethered to the room so you can jump in and jump back. That bastard got me 10 times easily until I lured him back and used the mist. Got him in one go with that strategy.
EDIT: +15 for insight suckers. I hate them so much my teeth hurt.
EDIT part dux: Upper Ward is probably the most scariest place I've been too in the game. Between that eerie music and the dark and the "slurp slurp" around every corner, I actually had to chat with a friend because I was getting scared, lol

a bugs head or body... or just bugs in general
but so far the Amigdala aren't too bad. Patches looks a bit terrifying mind you.
Saw Cleaver is a very good weapon, even one handed version. If you like it, stick with it.
If by that sword you mean Ludwig's Holy blade, you can find certain Badge on the way to Upper Cathedral Ward (door to the right of Cathedral Ward lantern.) That will allow you to buy it. It's my favorite weapon and it is amazing one handed.

Exact same thing happened to me. Has to be this bug. From the get go my instinct was rum head on and dodge behind at last second (like practically every boss).
It did start teleporting randomly after about half health but same tactic yielded just that combo over and over after teleport. No purple mist, no clones.

Haven't finished the game yet but that monster with the loot bag that
kidnaps you in Cathedral ward and takes you to the Unseen Village is probably the one that terrified me the most. Especially because you're pretty underleveled for the area and had to fight at least two of them before you could get to the lamp to get out of there.

Still stoked. Here's my admittedly sloppy take down of this boss. Almost die at least three times, but I do manage to pull off a couple risky dodges in with all the ones I failed.

I hate those enemies but the "la la" singing is probably my favorite thing in the game.
It's a buff - higher damage, lower defense.

Same, took a week off and now starting a 2nd NG. Going with a female hunter, skill and arcane. I missed the Eileen storyline first time around so am looking forward to getting the gear plus Blades of Mercy. It's gon b gud.

Does anyone else have an incredible hoarding habit when it comes to Souls games? I've so many items I've never used, the beast pellets, bone marrow ash, elixirs etc. All saved just in case and I never get round to using them.

Huh? How do you have a +9 weapon without finding the Kirkhammer? I mean you get it in the shop when you kill Cleric Beast, which is almost the first boss.

Can someone fucking explain to me how I make the small jump into the window in Megers Middle Loft in Nightmare of Mensis or whatevers it's called. I've watched about 10 youtube videos and they simply walk onto the ledge my character just falls down and if I roll he hits an invisible wall and falls down.

You do more damage but take more damage the more the meter is filled

Has happened to me a couple of times. Adjust the camera(seeing your character sideways and the window) and time it right.

Forbidden Woods is so gorgeous. I know everyone was hyped for Bloodborne's setting, but it's the forest that really screams "Victorian" to me.

They're only at front of the main gate, once you're inside they won't appear again and enemies are easier.

I don't know where else I can go or do since after leaving hapogeon/ unseen village

Both of those areas are optional lol. From yahargul you go past the boss area and you'll reach the area that will take you to the other main campaign sections.Okay I'm not sure what to do in this game anymore.

Only Root chalices are random.
It's normal.
Back up your save to USB before the end.
At least I got eileen's set =/

The only chalice dungeons which are random have the word "root" in it, everything else is pre-build and are called "story dungeons", you need to clear them before you can go deeper or make root versions of the cleared dungeons.
