It will definitely have stuff we have not figured out. There's already stuff in the game that people are clueless about like
the Ring of Betroham.

Plus a lot of number crunching which hasn't been done by the community and resistances of bosses so we can figure out optimum set ups.

Have you gone into the forest?

Go from the Grand Cathedral, down the steps into the courtyard and turn right. Behind the giant lies a path follow it to a door and give them your password and it should open. The lamp is shortly down the path from there.

so I was wanting to hold off a bit before going there. Now that I have the
tonsil stone
doesn't that grant me access to lecture hall? I still have to face the shadows of yarnham but I should finish them up tonight. Planning out my next location! Cainhurst or lecture hall then?? Or somewhere else that I'm unaware of?

I've been testing the merits of both and killing each wave seems to be the way to go, it's just such a setback when you do that for a while and then make a silly mistake (though Undead Giant 2.0 should have made me impervious to that kind of exhaustion).

I cleared each wave, I found the space way too narrow to dodge them. It's time consuming but it felt much more safe.

Byrgenworth and the Lecture Hall are the easier places and I'd recommend doing those two first.

Thanks Toxi, I'm thinking lecture hall then Cainhurst castle. I want to make sure I'm all caught up before I tackle Rom. Thanks for your input!

So i started the game selecting the class with the most arcane. So now I'm not sure what to level. So far I've only added points to vit, str and endurance. I'm only level 20 and just beat the cleric beast. I'm using the cane.... Where should i spend my blood echoes?

Lecture Hall then. From there you can go to 2 new locations, but they are much harder than others.
You could do Cainhurst as well, but the boss is difficult so either "git gud" or play in co-op.

The cane benefits more from skill than strength. VIT and END are always good to level if you're not sure what to put points into

It depends on the weapon you want to use. Do you have any in mind?
 
I hope a patch makes arcane scaling better. Elemental gems aren't available until later chalice Dugeons, and they still don't seem to be as good as pure physical or split physical/arcane damage.
 
Made the run for the Tonitrus and managed to get it and get out of that area without dyingg (not fighting anything, just running haha). Immediately upgraded it to +6 to use with my +6 Holy Blade.

I like it so far....but the Holy blade is so nice idk if I can get used to anything else =\

Then you can go for KirkHammer, which is a strength weapon that, in it's regular form is fast, in this case, go for strength, or Ludwig's Holy Blade, in this case, it's a quality big sword that works in a similar way to the hammer, maxed out, it'll scale equaly with strength and skill, so go for both.

Both are awesome weapons! Now, if you want speed, I'd go with blade of mercy, it has great scaling with skill and it is super fast, so invest in skill and endurance for huge combos :)

Whatever weapon you go with, remember to invest mostly in the stat the weapon scales the best with. For the other stats, just make sure you have the minimum required to wield your weapon of choice and you're golden

That... might be a bug. The enemy that takes your insight is basically a Mind Flayer, and it takes it relatively slowly (1 or 2 per grab attack). They're very infrequent outside of end game Chalice dungeons, so it seems unlikely you would have gotten completely tapped out of Insight just from running into one. (Unless you only had a couple of points to begin with.)

You should be fine. I am level 100 doing chalice dungeons just because I have nothing to spend my souls on anymore. Assuming you have adapted to how the game plays you will probably kill the final boss with ease.

HOLY FUCK....I just did my first invasion, and my bell "resonated" with another and a guy came in to fight me. We bowed, and I got ready for my first real fair duel.

I sparked my Tonitrus and readied my Blunderbuss....and then HE
SHOT RED SKULL GHOSTS AT ME
??? Like three or four
floating ghost skulls
came out of him and heat seeked me and like took almost all of my health down. It was fucking crazy...what the hell happened???
 
Starting to get annoyed with the game. The bosses seem so inconsistent. I've managed to tackle a few fine so far but Vicar Amelia acts completely different each time I try and kill her. I swear it's glitched. No possible way to make a pattern to take her down and all the videos I've watched She acts completely different to how she is in my game.

Going to give it a break for a bit before I punch a hole into my TV haha.
 
I'm on NG++.

I just knocked the hunter NPC right before Rom onto the edge and knocked her off the edge.

I didn't get any blood echoes.

I think she's in there.
