Yeah, it would have been a good idea, but alas, the elevator still won't move. Just tried it with Knitoe. I'm just fucked.
Are you sure this is the case for forbidden woods and (boss spoilers)Because those areas have the same oily effect on the water, and fire doesn't seem to do anything.Daughter of the Cosmos?
My kills for a couple chalice dungeon bosses
Abhorrent Beast
Defiled Watch Dog of the Old Lords
Really enjoyed both boss fights, the second one was SUPER tense, but I felt like a total badass when he died.
Yikes with him on it it won't come back up? =/
Well shit, this better be like the first thing they patch for the next one. Then they can get the co-op connecting issues fixed.
Is weight a factor in this game? I mean will you move faster/jump farther if you store everything away?

its the one you have to do before defiled. Ailing Loran Depth 4 layer 3 is where they are. You get this chalice from beatingplains.Amagdalla in NM
I guess, but doesn't that kind of ruin the game?
Yes, you can and it counts for the trophy.Question:
If I couldnt get the chikage because I didnt join the Vileblood Covenant, should I be able to get it in the chalice dungeons?
Well beginningSo I'm still grappling with The Shadow of Yarnam, how far along in the game am I?
So I've been through all the areas now...there's no area I actively dislike, but I'm curious as to how you guys would rank them.
For me it's (area spoilers below):
1. Forsaken Castle Cainhurst
2. Forbidden Woods/Byrgenwerth
3. Central Yharnam
4. Upper Cathedral Ward (Would be #1 if it was longer...damn that vibe)
5. Old Yharnam
6. Hemwick Charnel Lane
7. Nightmare of Mensis
8. Cathedral Ward
9. Nightmare Frontier
10. Lecture Building
11. Yahar'gul, Unseen Village
12. Chalices
I've had a hoot with people's shenanigans in CO-OP. My favorite was when i called for help to beat shadow of yharnam (First time in the fight). I was just being a chicken and homedude showed up and waited right outside of the fog, to up the difficulty. I beat shadow of yharnam anyway, and he IMs me on PSN and says "You have passed the trial of the forest!!"
Cool, thanks dude.Well beginning
It is close to half.
Anyone know if you can stack 2 of the same rune? (exact same I mean, not different versions)

I loathe. Just an obnoxious area to run through.Nightmare Frontier
Also when they gonna release this Bloodborne Official Gear! D:
Anyone know if you can stack 2 of the same rune? (exact same I mean, not different versions)
I don't think you can acquire the exact same runes. Any duplicates seem to convert into insight items instead.

Are the alternative versions of weapons actually worth getting? Does a different gem slot make a difference?
You never had theMolotov guys roast you in the oil river? Totally oil.
The forbidden woods definitely, you can see the icon pop up. The Altar water is just water with a low rez reflection map.
I definitely recall someone chucking a molotov into that rainbow water in the forbidden woods and BAD things happening (the fire spreads like crazy and does huge damage), so I agree- it's oil.
havent made it to daughter of cosmos though.
Akicking my ass in the Defiled Chalice Dungeon. Whats worse? When I fought it in the main story, I won first time round. The practically non existent margin of error is really testing me. I find it both frustrating and thrilling at the same time.mygdala
DEDShadow of Yharnam
Where should I be off to in my quest? Continue onwardsThere were a bunch of routes I think in Forbidden Forest, one led back to Yharnam (to Byrgenwerth?and the other somewhere else. There is also a route from Vicar Amelia's castle that goes somewhere, not sure where.Iosefka's clinic
Also, I need more insight. I probably lost a dozen trying to summon cooperators, almost all of them didn't work. I'm at 21 currently.
This is super weird because I totally tried tossing a molotov at some dudes in the river in forbidden woods multiple times thinking it was oil, and nothing happened. Huh.
Story wise, the first option you mentioned.
Is it normal for the game's audio to kinda freeze for half a second from time to time? Cause it's happening right now and it's freaking me out.
Will I eventually trace back to the ones I'm probably gonna miss?
Does anyone know if putting your PS4 in suspend and resume activates the 12 hour glitch? I suspend and resume from the title screen btw. Reason beingI was watching Lobos' run and saw him fight Amygdala and she ripped her arms off in the final parts of the battle, never done that against me. Leads me to wonder if she was gimped by the glitch...
What is your vitality at? You were tanking those hits. Really, AMy kills for a couple chalice dungeon bosses
