WOW!... Finally killed Watchdog of the Old Lords in the Defiled Chalice. Level 98. That was fucking TENSE! Been trying for over a day with this boss. Once I got him down to to like 5-10% health I started freaking out, "Don't fuck up... Don't fuck up!". I died so many times to this boss, I lost count. This was one of the hardest bosses for me thus far in a Souls game due to the halved HP and how easy it is to get one-hit killed. I uploaded it on YouTube if anyone struggling with this boss wants to watch here.

So does having high insight really make bosses harder? Cause I had about 70 when I was fighting this boss.

Man, these Chalice Dungeons just keep getting more and more challenging (and I'm level 127 :/)and with crazier enemies not seen in the main game. I like the fact that there's extra content but it really does feel like a grind. Every dungeon has, what seems like, a few different room templates and the enemy placement is just the random part. I'm also just not really getting any interesting loot, just crap for more Chalice Rituals. I really want Beast Claws and Madman set, but they continue to elude me, Oh well. Back to the grind I guess. :/

Beast Claws can be found in
Ailing Loran Chalice - layer 2.

This boss
Ebrietas,
is such bullshit :/
Had some real trouble with her as well, she has a real wide arc on her swings and her size and movement means that it can really mess up your camera at times which is unfortunate...

The first time I get her down to the point that she starts bringing out the lasers was definitely a surprise, felt like I was doing great and then suddenly you're dead. Once you know about them though it's simply a matter of backing of and strafing her to one side and her charge up before she uses it is really easy to see and gives you plenty of time to prepare. My bigger problem where her charge attacks (both ground and the flying ones) since they have such a wide area of damage it can be difficult to get out of the way at all.

Managed to finally take her out last night though and when it all came together it was a great run, only needed to use 4 blood vials and was super satisfying to overcome the challenge.

Ok so how the fuck do you dodge rom'a air crystal attack. I feel like nothing works for me consistently...

Had him down to like 10% and then he spams this two times in a row. Dodge the first and try the same technique and get hit by all of the second volley wtf lol

You probably in jail. Uneen village
I believe its called. never been myself

The sack guys are in pairs everywhere. They do more damage than most bosses. There are other enemies that try to gouge your eyes out with spoons. I thought I escaped the place and instead I found a boss.

So yeah, FUCK THAT PLACE. Back to the forest for me I guess.

So tired of this loading screen. Fighting 3 hunters. Can't tell if this is even fun haha. Try a bunch of shit and get quadruple penalized

Navigate back
Lose your souls
Run out of vials and bullets (with no souls to buy them back)

these are the hunters in unseen village. Trying luring one at a time but eventually they all show up

I had no idea that the cannibal in
forbidden forest was essentially BB's version of Yurt. I knew something was wrong when the granny died after I brought him to the chapel. Good thing I figured this out before he killed Arianna
.

Dash away, and when they are just about to hit you, do a jump.

holy shit Dark Beast was hard, hardest of the all bosses so far. is there any other boss in
unseen village

a cannibal/monster eating humans? That's a little suspicious to me even before talking to him.

Probably already discussed but I was looking for something in the wiki and found that in Old Yharnam you can
befriend the guy with machine gun.

The game is packed with secrets!

i did this yesterday. "Thanks mate" Tonitrus mauled him straight over the edge.

Yeah the load time reallllllllllllllllly sucks for any difficult encounters, or trying anything suicidal or dangerous. Its kind of put me off another playthrough :/ I love the game, but man... if they'd add teleports from lanterns that would also help.

He's pretty easy if you lock onto his body, stay underneath him and position so you are hitting his legs. The other boss
One Reborn, require to advance the story.

so I m not gonna meet
One Reborn

Beat him last night after about 10 tries lol, In the
Hypgeon gaol
Apparantly he is harder there. Don't lock on and use a wide swinging weapon. i was level 40 with a +5 Ludwig blade with fire paper once you knock him down once you can constantly keep him down if you do enough dps. Once i stopped locking on and treated him like sif, (hes very similar). Hes easy. Beating him there allowed me to make friends with djura because i snuck up on him at the top of his tower so every cloud and all that.

I was at this same exact spot just now (for the past 2-3 days). This was the one part that unmotivated me haha.
I ran straight across to the other door to avoid them, cleared the rest of the level then lured them from the front door onto Main Street. Only 2 came out, and you'll have much more room to run around.

man, fuck this, I'm fighting
paarl
in a chalice dungeon and the frame rate is almost constantly below 15 making it ridiculous to try and dodge the lighting explosions.

Yeah man feelin unmotivated too. Just tired of having to take the time to set up the playspace everytime just to inevitably die. Enemy hunters are just relentless attackers while also being pretty tanky. Last death was me sidestepping into a pot I didn't see and getting pummeled. I guess they are optional but you feel compelled to kill them, ha

my problem is I cant see shit because of him being bolty and gloowy
The path to One Reborn won't open until you have killed Rom.
thanks my heart cant handle another boss there

Haha, sweet. That was my first GAF co-op experience with Bloodborne.

Music Box made her sidestep a few times, maybe interrupted a couple fog sequences.

oh, and it made the baby laugh at the end.

Fun stuff fellas.

I have pulled my usual Souls routine of playing through completely blind, beating the game then checking the threads and the wikis to find out I missed about half of the game. Now I'm going for the platinum on another character so my question is, other than beating the final boss, are there any events or triggers that occur which will prevent me from getting a trophy for that particular play through?

So far I've downed
Cleric Beast, Father Gascoigne, Blood Starved Beast and Darkbeast Pearl.
I've talked to
Eileen, Alfred and Gilbert
too.
