Please From. Let me fucking buy Chunks when I finished the game. PLEASE. So tedious to try new weapons..
Does anyone know whatare in the Chalice Dungeons?Fetid Offering's
Blood vial system promotes farming, which is boring and not fun. It in no way promotes getting "gud" when the pacing of the game and your attempts are brought to a screeching halt because you gotta go back and farm a low level area for 15 minutes. Also, the inherent nature of improving yourself by very definition means you're not doing something right to begin with, thus the need for improvement. Ultimately it is a worse system than Estus flasks, which is better suited to allow people to stay in their groove and on point to defeat a boss or area. And it's not as if chugging Estus wins the game' you're still a stationary target, whereas in bloodborne u have a bit of movement which actually makes healing a bit easier in that regard.
That said, the new attack to get health back is good and adds a certain risk reward element to health. I say this is the thing to keep from this game going forward for sure, but ditch the blood vials, bring back estus.
Any strategies for? I know I need to parry him to get some visceral attacks for the most lethal hits but his moves are really unpredictable and when I get him to under 40%, he goes airborne and kills me. I am using a +8 Ludwig. I also have a +8 Cleaver.Gherman

Ok thanksThey make the dungeon more difficult, but increase chances of good loot dropping.
I got my platinum just now as well...and I honestly LOVED the higher level chalice dungeons. They strip the game down to a pure dungeon crawler, and really are a blast.
welcome to the lowest point in any souls game that exists or will exist.
Same. Beat the boss on the second try. Stunlock with R1, shoot to stun more while stamina regens, then back to R1. Now to get to that dreaded second boss...
Fire Dog 1, famicom 0.
I managed to get him to 60%. Totally doable. The charge isn't hard to dodge. Time for Round 2!
Ludwigs is still an amazing skill weapon. It's the most versatile option.
Alright, so I dropped from 60 Insight to under 20, and enemy damage didn't go down. Not sure it's legit that Insight is tied to enemy damage.
I dunno what I'm not sure what to do now, Ehas cleaned me out of blood vials. But I'm sure taking a break and farming blood vials will help me get gud rather than actually fighting her.brietas
Hopefully I'll exit the dungeon a better player.
Tried parrying at first, but in one instance it recovered from the stagger absurdly fast so I couldn't land a visceral attack and got killed. Also, the stutter seems to be more pronounced during this fight and it's quite distracting.
I'll try the Blades of Mercy tomorrow and see how they fare. If that fails, there are always poison knives and pillars...
Does the Defiled Dog have new attack patterns? The one in Pthumerian was really easy.
Bro I am stuck on her too I think I will go grind a bit... my level is 66 atm so I am going to try to farm blood chunks and level up my various weapons.
Yep, sounds about right. The whip makes most mobs in the game trivial with its speed and reach. But against most bosses that reach goes out of the window and the cane can't stagger for crap. Definitely requires a different play style than the stronger and slower weapons.Light, fast enemies will be a cakewalk now. Giant bosses that need to staggered will now be a pain in the ass.
Never had to farm vials. If you do I suspect you're just using them too frequently.

I just can't...
Spend a couple of hours doing Lower Loran and Isz to farm the damn jellys for Ihyll, and when I finally got them ... and Now I need Blood Ritual 5 (because obviously I used them for Loran and Isz).
Fuck, I like the Chalices themselves but I'm tired of this item farming. I really don't feel like repeating more Chalices for these items...

Beat Defiled Fire Dog! Took maybe 7-8 tries. I stayed locked on and whipped his head. Took all my vials, had to Bone Marrow Ash and shoot a lot at the end since I had 5% health left.
It wasLoren Darkbeast, which is basically the Paarl Darkbeast with four times as many hit points, in a massive arena, and it moves faster and is harder to stun than Paarl.
I was also being stubborn and probably could have done it in fewer attempts if I had taken a break to think about it more, because I eventually slept on it and got it in 5 thereafter.
Blood Ritual 5 farming is easy, check YouTube.
Here it is: http://youtu.be/RQ-rC0HD5To
You go where he went in the video and get the blood. Then, you erase the chalice and do the video again. It takes 5 minutes per run. Searching the chalice and setting it up each time takes no materials as long as you've created one on your own once.
This might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ-rC0HD5To

I'm not even complaining about blood vials, but saying the problem is someone is using too many isn't helpful at all. People are of different skill levels. They are there to be used, not hoarded.
That's bullshit.
Some enemies get new attacks and moves that's it.
But the overall game difficulty isn't tide to insight.
I asker this a few pages ago but never got a response. Where does the Chikage drop in the chalice dungeons? I can't get it from the main story since theand I can't revive her since the elevator toQueen is deadis broken. Anyone can help?Ebrieas
I've just done the first boss in the Pthumeru Ihyll CD, what are the other bosses?

Thanks Fami! So after I defeat the queen I'll go into the Defiled dungeon. ThanksFrom fextralife wiki:

Thanks! Are there any benefits to using an uncanny or lost weapon?https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...cQrtKR0sRb6Q/htmlview?sle=true#gid=1095946635
Bunch of archived Glyph Codes for Dungeons there. Lots of them with Chikage.
Three hunters at once, this is bullshit.
