This little ass is a cool dude but he acts morel like a dog than a cat.

I found him in a dumpster/bin outside a hotel nearby here in January of 1999. I remember the vet at the time saying he probably wouldn't survive the week but he survived for 15 years before he had to be put to sleep due to most of the power in his legs going last year. So he was suitably named considering the situation he was initially in and how long he lived for.

Then this is the new lad, just about a year old, Benson.

It was our cats' first birthday this weekend.

There were treats.

Tippy sang Happy Birthday at the top of her lungs.

They both planned to murder us in our sleep.

All in all, a good day.

All in all, a good day.

No matter what cat, no matter what occasion, it seems cat's ALL have the same facial expressions! "mildly annoyed yet bemused"

Here's mine. He is a Staffordshire Bullterrier and my bestest friend. This is one of my favourite pictures of him.

So many great looking pets in the thread. I can't go on quoting every one of them though, so I'll just compliment everyone.

Cute doggie!

We actually had a westie meeting yesterday at a local park.
They're great! I'd always wanted once since as long as I can remember, and managed to convince my wife about 18 months or so to take the plunge. Couldn't live without him now (well, maybe he could stop barking at the TV). ^_^

This is our new little girl Nea, she's 6 weeks old and we've only had her for about a week. She's a terrier/pug mix and a little bitch right now!

This is my cute little dog named "Bolt", but we never call him that instead we call him "Bolah".
Funny. My cat's name (in the post before yours) is Draco, but I usually call him Bacos (like the old bacon bits). I don't know why. I just started one day and it caught on with my wife.

Here's the one and only dog I've had in my life (currently in the process of shedding, lol):

She is 14 years old.

I will be moving out on my own for the first time next month, and I've been debating a lot about getting a pet. Either or a cat or a dog since I like both. How hard is it for a single person who works 40+ hours a week to have a pet? I just feel it would add a lot to my dull life, but I worry about leaving it alone for that long each week.
